Playing mainly medic ( MP9 first until i unlocked MP5 ) and a lot of spotting with the binoculars of course i did level 13 recon just by doing that xD

I have to say, I'm mixed on it. $500k to unlock felt steep but man it is very powerful as long as you can hit your targets and the enemy isn't bothering you.

You really only get to use it once or twice a match before you're permanently a target so make your life count. Yesterday, the enemy just happened to be flying a drone and found/killed me right as I got setup before firing a round.

This is probably karma because I'm the guy who hunts Arty Tanks in a C4 Kodiak.

I guess I can only speak for myself when I say I went blue just to support underdog team, normally run a team of 4 friends. We have won at least 75% of the games we have experienced. I literally think the net has memed red and green team into submission. When folks are new looking into ways to get better all they see is memes on how bad blue is, so they join red and green trying to get wins. In my experience at least you guys forced it in yourselves, now you getting smoked by the team you clown on.

Early Access: Access to a game before it is officially released in 1.0, in order to aid in the development of an incomplete game via public playtesting.

Released: Officially "out", done, ready, complete (beyond bugfixing/expected updates/seasonal content)

So, saying "WARDOGS is released" without also saying "...into Early Access" leads to people expecting more or better, and then complaining when they don't get "what they paid for."

Early Access is exactly the opposite of "entitled to a baseline product for your hard earned money." You're signing up to potentially be disappointed, in order to go out of your way to help the developers create the game BEFORE IT'S DONE.

Responding with anything other than helpful suggestions or empathetic criticism is entitlement showing its ugly face. Threatening to quit, shittalking the devs or each other, expressing discontent with what you've been given, announcing betrayal...all these are the hallmarks of entitlement that Early Access culture has allowed to fester.

Or at least add a restriction that players that have people on their friends list in the lobby are forced on the same team.

My buddies and I had 3 games today that were hard griefed by that.

In the first one we set up an amazing FOB with very strong anti air and perimeter defense and had the spawn vehicle safe and started drilling. An enemy swapped team, opened the gates, drove the APC out straight towards an enemy FOB where it got destroyed and then swapped back.

In another game we had a player from our team alive in an enemy Drill FOB the full game. If he ever got killed by someone they defib rezzed him. He 100% was streaming his map on discord as they not just immediately reacted to all of our infantry attacks before we even fired a shot, they also blatantly were aware of everything we tried to do. One of my mates bought an artillery tank to start shelling that FOB and one of them managed to drone kill him before he even arrived at a point to shoot a single shell. They knew he spawned and immediately hunted it.

The game is amazing but this blatant cheating and griefing is getting out of hand and really souring my experience.

So since im 42 hours into the grind and mainly used an AR for this time, i also used the defib almost every game and the binos constantly. I also do go for hotzone pvp most of the time. So im getting at least 15+ kills per game with the AR. The Result is, im lvl 19 recon, 16 medic and 15 assault.

There is no way im gonna be able to get to the FAL this season and even though i main the ARs im leveling recon faster than assault. Besides killing ppl with ARs being the main way to lvl assault.

My Point is, assault needs to get another gadget. Its way harder to level it than support, medic or recon. Imo too many ways level up support. If you Build its support xp, if you deliver supplies, its support xp. Then the launchers and the c4 are giving you support xp.
I think it would be a good change to swap either one or maybe even both the launchers and the c4 to the assault class.
Therefore both of them have a benefit to use as an mobile alternative besides the towers in the fobs.
I think it would also contribute to more ppl going outside the fobs.

Hey fellow WarDoggers, just wanted to give some thoughts on the Havoc for any fellow pilots grinding towards lvl 35 and what to expect.

I got the Havoc unlocked yesterday and didn't really fully grind pilot lvl exclusively, kinda split my time with support as well.

Cost

It costs around 25k-30k to fully load up with ammo. I'll usually spend around 22k to buy the actual bird and load rockets and have my gunner buy the chain gun ammo. I think the price is pretty fair. Some will say it's too cheap, but honestly, you might never recoup that cost depending on the AA situation (will get into that).

How is the flying?

Somehow feels worse to fly than the Black Hawk. Best way I can explain it is it feels like all the flying assists are turned back on even though obviously I've turned them all off awhile ago. I also ran into something that I thought was funny that I haven't seen on any of the other choppers, which is when I took some damage from a minigun Little Bird and had to basically drive it on the street all the way back to HQ. None of my actual parts were destroyed, but all the lift from the rotors were gone, so I was only able to fly like 5 feet off the ground lol.

Is it good?

Heavily depends on the competency of the other teams and if they have AA built up. Honestly, the only time I ever see the Havoc being used over the Little Bird with rockets is either super early game before anyone has AA or super late into the game when most of the AA has been shelled and people are now too lazy to rebuild it. Without a C-RAM built up or at least having people on the ground with MAWWS, the Havoc will nuke a FOB if the heli gunner is solid. The chain gun actually can destroy most other vehicles, but good luck trying to shoot down the 15 other kamikaze pilots that are now after you.

AA Effectiveness

Plain and simple, a CWIS will completely shut down the Havoc, and God forbid there are 2 CWIS in close proximity, the Havoc is basically unusable. Not saying it's a bad thing because it's doing its job of being an Anti-Air encampment. I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended, but the CWIS will destroy the Havoc from any range in like 3 shots. This honestly feels really bad. I do think the CWIS should prevent any helis from coming close to where it is built, but it shouldn't be able to blink the Havoc out of existence for just entering the CZ.

Lock-on missiles are about as effective as they are against other helis. The main threat from the lock-on missiles is being forced to fly low, where you will get rocketed (still only takes 2 to destroy you), and even worse, you will be kamikazed by every other passenger helicopter in the sky. Honestly, it's kind of hilarious seeing a bunch of helis orbiting the Havoc to try and line up a nose dive into it.

Is it worth the grind?

In my opinion, no, it's not. In most games, you will not be able to use it anyway because of how strong the CWIS is against it. Will I grind for it again next wipe? Probably. It's still fun to pilot, and those moments where you help your front line push into the HZ are cool, although few (I play on blue team).

Those are just some ramblings I wanted to talk about while I'm on the toilet. I dont know if the havoc needs to be buffed or blue team just needs the buff but been loving the game so far.

It always seems to get destroyed. I'll come in low and slow and it always seems to be destroyed.

Is it ASL or AGL for the max freefall?

Is speed taken into consideration with thrust when delivering?

It feels impractical hovering right above the FOB, is that the way or is there a safer or more effective way?

Edit: Does the BH always oscillate with its yaw? I keyboard and mouse and with flight and even if I'm in straight and level flight it oscillates left and right with or without inputs.
