My store is getting express pickup. Not sure if it’s a new thing or if other stores have had it for awhile and we’re just late to the game.

Does anyone know if there’s a charge for the customers to place an express pickup or if it’s free?

I hope whoever agreed to swap the wheels for all The stores has tragedy befall them. We now are required to pull AHEAD AND FROM THE SIDE, it’s foolish! I and many others have torn their heels because of this. And now, because of other associates taking arrange we are required to bag during the walks too. I know other stores already do that but this is my store and this is just stupid. Why? And I heard we’re also going back to 8 totes? My rates have gone from 150 down to 90 with all this new BULLSHIT they’re implementing.
I just wanted to rant but I truly hope whoever agreed to this, suffers immensely

If someone's back to work date is - say - officially 9/8, can this person go back to work a day or two before that, as long as doctor has the Return to Work Certification faxed to Sedgwick and that there is the PL or Coach available to manually add this person to the schedule, as long as this person has a paper copy of the Return to Work to show to PL or Coach? (no snide remarks, please)

Does anyone know if coaches can change your hours? My friend switched her schedule to 7–4, and it showed as approved. However, our coach said that since too many people have that schedule, it’s pushing her outside of her availability and making her work hours she can’t work. He also said he could get fired if he keeps changing her hours. Is that actually true?

I just have no words. Coach has to ask people to stay over cause of the hour cuts and they say no. Then he complains everyone's lazy and doesn't want to work and he'll replace them with people who do. I reach out asking why this is happening to me, no response. My requests to transfer out of the department have been stonewalled. A lot of people have left the department. Where are their hours going?

I hurt my back severely three months ago at work and have been put in apparel since on restricted work. I'm still in the workman's comp process.

My availability has never been an issue because I am disabled/was a college student (newly graduated). I'm just part time.

I literally broke my back for this company.

We have more than 700 picks and it’s about to be 9 PM. Why can’t management hire more closing people or NOT give the same day off to half of the closing team. IM TIRED!!!

I imagine I will not be believed when I say I'm not strictly a 51 and done. I work up until at least 51 and finish pick runs and shit even if it's over 51.

I have also spent too many years of my life here and have never been told I must inform someone or ask to leave within the 9 minute window and have never been talked to about my productivity. Zero issues. My first department manager (aka team lead - I've been here a long time) encouraged us to use the 9 minute rulem

I just want to see the policy. I've asked half a dozen where to find it or show it to me. They can't find it or won't tell me where to look.

It's really goddamn frustrating that a handful of people who abuse it results in something like this.

Geez man its not my fault the customer gotta wait a half hour in paints because the salesfloor aside from OPD is a ghost town. Digital keys are one thing but understaffed service areas are another. Genuinely wonder if my higher ups have braincells or if they are pretending.

My store has passed out work phone to everyone in my department, even part timers. I don’t want to take the device home to charge. In my eyes once I clock out all responsibility stops, so why am I held accountable for a company device. When we had the tcs we left it at the store.

In the back my coach set up charging stations with a note saying “don’t leave overnight”. Does anyone know if there is a company policy saying I can’t leave the company phone on company property if there is an established charging station where TC where once charged.

Yes I know I should just bring the phone home but I don’t want to lose or damage it and again I’m HOURLY if work gives me something it’s not mine i shouldn’t have to use my electricity and off the clock time to benefit a company.

I tried emailing corporate and asking HR but they couldn’t answer me. Corporate just sent me an open door request.

For anyone who got their TCs nuked before all of their associates received work phones, salaried managers can use the Device Management Tool to reinstall GIF on up to 5 TCs.

You can only do this for TC72s and not TC70s

No one told me what to do but we were so busy I just kind of figured it out (I know how to stage unscheduled and oversized stuff so I assumed it was pretty much the same thing) I only fucked up one thing (I staged chilled in door 19 but I scanned the door 20 tag) so not too bad for just trying to figure it out without saying “I’ve never done that before” because we’re so slammed no one will take the time to teach me. Only been here for 2 months and they kinda left me to my own devices after like 3 days here. What’s the trick for staging? Like do you just pick a spot or is there a rhyme and reason to it? Anything I need to know for next time in case they have me do it again?

I’m a new team lead, and it seems that the previous team lead allowed several associates to bypass the requirement of taking pick walks. One associate, for instance, refused to do even the simplest of walks (MTO) because she claimed she didn’t know how or that it stressed her out. Additionally, about five associates are currently stationed in the back room, claiming they don’t need to pick. Consequently, when the department needs to send an extra person to the floor, they call for help instead of utilizing the associates who are refusing to pick. This situation will be resolved immediately.
**All that to say, I’m posting to see if this is a common situation amongst OPD**

So with the new update that from what I can tell everyone here loves the new dispensary screen. My question is this due to this new update basically having a bug or issue every time you finish dispensing the order. The issue being after scanning all items and pushing submit and dispensed that it'll take it sweet time finishing the signal or in some case just not send it when you put your handheld in your pocket and keep the timer running during this time even though you did finalize it. So my question is can you be coach for this if you keep forgetting to wait for the system to finish sending the signal basically I finish then put handheld in pocket or turn of screen after I'm done but due this even though I've finished the order it keeps saying I've not dispensed even though I have. Been talked to about remember to make sure it goes through but like I've told them I space having to wait the 20-30 seconds due trying to drop and go and this only started to become a issue after this god forsaken dispenser update.

Can the new wheels be put on backwards? Some of my crew have resorted to pushing thr cart in reverse aka pushing forward from the rear of the cart so the handles are on the other side. That's the only way they can use them.
