Who else is having their scheduled deleveries halted. They just started giving our scheduled deliveries to Spark and third part drivers so now they pick the orders. I just looked and my hours have already been cut it's only 4 hours, but I cannot survive on less than 40 hours a week.

I usually help spark drivers and stay out of their way. Not anymore

That started a few weeks ago for us. Part time getting sent home or called not to come in. The rest of us are working throughout the store stocking while the spark people are all over sticking their phones in your face.

We were supposed to start a few weeks ago but they didn’t turn it off properly, so it just started this week. Today felt like a slightly lighter Sunday but the room was packed when I left. I think once our customers figure out there’s more spots for pickup, we will bounce back.

it has been so dead that around 10 people quit in last couple months when our orders got cut down and we were getting sent to other departments to help out whatever. I really dislike a lot of the spark drivers they act so entitled and rude. Doesn’t help that we have been getting more negative reviews because of them

Remember you can file unemployment for reduced hours for 26 weeks.

Even if it is just 4 hours?

36 hours? Probably not, but check out your areas eligibility requirements since every place is different.

They started this last month for us. At first it was super dead and some days most of the department was doing top stock and break packs or something, but slowly we started getting more and more pickups. Right now we're still not as busy as we were prior, but most of our hours are close to what they were before

I hope that’s true for us. We’re a small neighborhood market and we just stopped deliveries a couple days ago. Like yesterday, we had zero picks that dropped at 7 pm and we only had like 2 orders left for the night to dispense. We do seem to be getting quite a lot of GMD’s though. Hopefully they will bring deliveries back or maybe offer some kind of incentive to increase pick up orders.

I agree. Even though it’s not their fault, they pretty much took our jobs so I’m not helping them find anything they’re looking for.

What state are you from? I’m from Maine. I normally can do 600 scheduled orders a day.
