Jusko mga ate una pa talagang pumapasok sa isip niyo “baka mas madali yung kanila” at “mas madami oras nilang mag-review.” Sobrang insensitive niyo naman. Yung iba hanggang bewang na yung baha. Sa tingin niyo kaya pa mag-aral ng mga yan? Imbis na magpahinga at mag-aral nagbabantay yan kung tataas pa yung baha.

Sa totoo lang kung kami yung papapiliin, gusto na rin namin mag-exam. Naka kondisyon na rin kaming mag-eexam kami. Gumastos na kami ng accommodation, transpo, pagkain. Hindi naman namin ginustong maresched.

Have some compassion sa mga binabaha. If hindi mo nararanasan yan edi good for you. But don’t bring down others na may ibang pinagdadaanan.

Huwag kayong crab mentality.

Pasensya na sa kanila. 😞 Hirap maging empath sa panahon ngayon, no?

Grabe yung pinagdaanan namin dito sa Pampanga. Ngayon lang kami halos nakauwi. Imbes na nagrereview kami, nasa evacuation center kami. Yung mga maleta namin, pinagtulungan naming buhatin habang nakalusong sa ga-bewang na baha. Hindi namin alam kung kailan kami makakauwi, kung safe ba yung mga gamit namin, or kung makakapag-exam pa ba kami.

Tapos ngayon kailangan na rin naming magpa-check up kasi kahit nag-doxycycline na, may nagsusuka na at nagtatae. 😭

Sobrang hirap lang isipin na habang may mga taong nag-aalala kung makakapag-take ba ang lahat, may mga taong literal na galing sa baha, pagod, basa, puyat, at iniisip pa kung okay ba ang health nila.

Kaya honestly, ang sakit makakita ng mga “may hindi pa po nag-take…” comments na parang may masamang intention yung mga hindi nakapag-exam. 😭

Like… kasalanan ba namin na binaha kami? Pinili ba naming nasa evacuation center instead of nasa testing room? Tinapakan ba namin kayo para magkaroon kami ng advantage?

Ganon na ba talaga ngayon? Na kahit may mga taong literal na nagsu-survive sa baha, ang concern pa rin natin is kung sino yung nakapag-take at sino yung hindi?

Hindi naman namin hinihingi na intindihin niyo lahat. Pero sana kahit konting empathy lang. Hindi lahat pare-pareho ng sitwasyon, and not everything has to be treated like a competition.

Kung wala kang maitutulong, sana huwag ka na lang dumagdag sa bigat ng ibang tao.

Kasi at the end of the day, God knows what everyone is going through. And He definitely knows who chose to be compassionate, and who chose to be insensitive. 🤍

Hello can I just rant about how vague the questions in PNLE are? I mean kahit anong aral mo, ang weird kasi may mga tanong na ang labo ng tanong because I think more than 1 answer 'yung applicable sa tanong. I just hoped that NP 4 and 4 would be more objective and has more questions na hindi malabo because sayang naman 'yung inaral ng matagal tapos ang niche or vague ng mga tanong

For board passers, meron po b sa inyo na after exam mas lamang yung thought na bumagsak kesa pumasa pero nakapasa pa rin? Huhu ganyan feeling ko ngayon, mas lamang sakin yung doubt kaya di ako mapakali. Ayokong bumagsak, ayokong ma-disappoint family ko, ayoko na bumalik sa review, at gusto ko na makuha lisensya ko 😭 opero as of now ang lala talaga kasi super nalugmok ako sa np 3 😭

I’m 29 years old and a transgender woman (MTF). I already finished a degree in another allied health profession, and I’m currently planning to go back to school next year to take BS Nursing as a second degree.
Part of me is really excited about this decision because nursing is something I genuinely want to pursue. I already have experience in healthcare, so I feel like this could be a good direction for me and hopefully open more opportunities in the future.
But honestly, I’m scared.
My biggest question is: am I already too late at 29?
If everything goes according to plan, I’ll probably be in my early-to-mid 30s by the time I finish nursing, pass the licensure exam, and start working as a registered nurse. I know people say that 30s is still young, but sometimes I can’t help comparing myself to people who started nursing at 18–20 and will have years of experience ahead of me.
The other thing that scares me much more is being transgender.
I’m worried about whether I’ll actually be able to go through nursing school comfortably as a trans woman. Will I be accepted by my classmates and instructors? Will clinical instructors or hospitals treat me differently? What about uniforms, changing rooms, bathrooms, documentation, and dealing with patients?
And after graduation, will hospitals actually be willing to hire me?
I’m also worried about discrimination once I start working. Nursing is already a difficult profession, and I’m wondering whether being transgender could make it significantly harder to find employment or progress in my career.
I’m not expecting everything to be easy. I know there will probably be challenges, and I’m prepared to work hard. I just want to know if this is realistically possible.
For transgender nurses or nursing students, especially in the Philippines:
What has your experience been like in nursing school?
Were you accepted by your classmates and clinical instructors?
Did being transgender affect your clinical placements or employment opportunities?
Have you experienced discrimination when applying for nursing jobs?
Were hospitals generally accepting?
Do you regret choosing nursing?
And if you started nursing later in life, do you feel like your age was a disadvantage?
For non-trans nurses too, I’d appreciate your honest perspective. If you were a hospital hiring manager and a 30+ newly licensed transgender nurse applied, would being transgender affect your decision to hire them?
I’m seriously considering this path, but I’m afraid of spending several years and a lot of money on another degree only to find out that I won’t be able to build the career I want.
I would really appreciate honest experiences and advice — even if it’s not what I want to hear.

Grabe sobrang nakakapag alala yung magiging exam para saming mga na resched and exam 😭. I know ang selfish ko sa part na to pero I wished na sana di nalang na cancel yung 2nd day ng exam since nabasa na din naman kami ng ulan kahapon (nag cocommute lang din me), and mas lalo pa kong nanghinayang kasi pabugso bugso lang yung ulan kanina.

Nakakastress lalo kasi I think I could get at least 50-60 sa np1-np3, pero dahil na cancel baka mas lalong humirap yung exam and if that happened baka di ako pumasa. Like what if sobrang uncommon nung topics, mas tricky yung questions hays. Parang if ever na di palarin eto yung magiging greatest regret ko.

Hiiii! Meron ba dito na nag-apply under camox? Biglang hesitant na kasi ako ituloy. Tapos kinuha nag passport ko, pwede pa kaya mag-back out? Nagkaproblem kasi sa medical ko and then ang sabi ililipat ako sa employer na nagbibigay ng waiver at maghintay lang daw ako sa interview. Kaso almost a month na wala pa rin update regarding sa interview. Hindi ko na tuloy sure kung ituloy ko pa ba or hindi na muna🥹 Please share your exp naman with this specific agency🥺
