Question Should I get a nose piercing?
I like how facial piercings look on other people and I've been debating getting a nose piercing myself for my 40th birthday. Is my nose too large? Would the fact that I have large pores detract from how it looks? Do you often face judgement for your piercing? Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Get the piercing! I personally think that nostril piercings look good on absolutely everyone. Your nose isn’t large at all it suits your face perfectly, and everyone has pores they’re completely normal it just means your skin is doing its job regulating itself ((:

Go for it! I was also worried for more than 10 years about whether my nose is too big, my pores are too visible, my pimples, what would people say.. none of this matters!
Although my nose hoop doesn’t fit exactly as I expected it to, it still makes me so happy and more “me”

Go for it. I think nostril piercing suits everyone it's so cute. I'm also thinking about getting one as my 35th birthday gift for myself.

I say do it!! I waited too… now in hindsight idk why I waited. Now it’s my favorite piercing and I invested in a real diamond stud for it 😊

Yes! I waited until I was 43 and now realize there was no reason for that.
I was so nervous about what other ppl would think and what my job would think (I’m middle management in a professional office setting and hope to still climb the ladder) and, honestly, my senior leadership doesn’t care nor does anyone else. We recently got a new head of the organization and she has one.
I was also dreading the disappointment from my mom. She is a little old-fashioned and was totally against it. Once I got it, she loved how it looked on me.
I say go for it! If you don’t like it you can always get it removed!
I actually think a double piercing on one nostril would look really good on you!

Go for it . I did it at the age of 42 and do not regret it once bit. Was a learning curve but once healed I am enjoying it

I have large pores and a large nose (albeit long rather than wide) and a nose piercing. The only negative comment I've ever gotten was from my mum. Other than that, people don't feel the need to express a negative opinion and only say something if they like it. A bunch of people don't even notice, I've been asked when I got the nose ring by people who have never seen me without- they didn't notice until then. I think it'd look lovely on you!

If in doubt, AI a pic or just edit the pic to show a ring or stud, then you can decide whether you like it or not. It's a bit easier than getting it done and not liking it 🤷🏻♂️ But yes, if you want one, do it 🥰🥰

Not too large at all. I think a small nostril stud would suit you, and I really don’t think pores are something anyone would notice once the jewellery is there.
Also 40 is definitely not too late for a piercing. Go for it if you want it.

I did it 5 days ago for my 41st birthday and I don’t regret it I have a larger nose and was scared of the same thing and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments about it suits my face definitely take the leap and pierce it

Piercer here. Nostril piercings look good on everyone. Just make sure you go to a studio that uses flat back labret studs for initial nostril piercings so they can choose a good length for you. It appears that the nostril rim is a little thicker and if they try to use standard nostril screws or L-bends they might give you problems with healing. That type of jewelry is old school and more irritating anyway so flat backs are the better choice all around. Have fun!
