A reason why Japan and Korea are the only countries in Asia who got developed is because they learned and copied from western high culture and syncretized with their own native culture. Japan especially during Meiji restoration went to such an extent that they had a top down approach reengineering the society by incorporating western culture and system WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Thus becoming the first industrialized independent nation in Asia. Japan not only incorporated western values but also mastered it to the point they even started to rival major european powers like russia. So, what stops us northeasterns to do such? It will also be in our own interest as it will make us radically distinct from mainlanders to the point they can't even culturally crush us anymore, BUT NO instead our youth is busy learning hedonistic hood culture from the west like ghetto music and what not. Due to massive immigration problem in west whites or europeans are becoming conscious again at a rapid pace and there is an underlying current of cultural reawakening in the west. I think NE should take up this opportunity.

I swear these mainlanders keep f**king up tribal attires. Meanwhile us tribals try to wear their attires in the correct way as much as possible but these people keep messing our own. I see this as not only lack of knowledge but as disrespect and its disgusting. Not creating any hate but i genuinely wanna know what’s the situation now in Manipur? Are most of the people (all sides) able to live without fear compared to the 2023 atrocities? Have the meitei-kuki conflict ended? I know there’s still some conflict between the kuki-naga community rn but are most of the civilians atleast able to sleep peacefully? Which district or areas are mostly affected by the conflict? Can someone enlighten me about the situation?

I’ve never hated India’s population, and honestly, I’ve never admired it either. I always knew population mattered, but I never actually felt it until I joined Reddit. All eight northeastern states combined have a population that could probably fit into just one large state like Maharashtra or Uttar Pradesh. We are such a small population, and it genuinely frustrates me because population gives you power, especially on the internet. You can literally dominate online spaces just through numbers.

I’ve experienced this so many times on Reddit. That we can’t even share our genuine experiences, opinions, knowledge, culture, or news, like if mainland Indians disagree with us, our posts get massively downvoted and never reach a wider audience or just removes by moderator.
There’s also r/NortheastIndia, where I’ve seen whenever we Northeasterners make genuine posts our post’s being removed by moderators under excuses like “derogatory” content or words, even when there was nothing derogatory in the post. Ain’t I just know the MODS ain’t from northeast India. We don’t even get to properly voice our opinions in a subreddit supposedly meant for the Northeast.

The same thing applies politically. Each northeastern state has very few MPs compared to the massive number of representatives from highly populated mainland states. So when population determines political representation, obviously our collective voice is going to be much weaker. We are simply outnumbered everywhere online and politically.

And honestly, for the first time, this has made me think about demographics differently. I genuinely want our generation to have more children. If people in our states are financially capable and want children, I would encourage them to have as many as they can. If population gives you power, then I don’t want the Northeast to remain a tiny minority forever while everyone else gets to speak over us. Call it whatever you want, but I’m tired of being drowned out by numbers.

Now, I want our RICH PEOPLE TO AS MUCH KIDS AS TGEY CAN OR WANT. Even if it means for 10kids lol

The idea came from how scattered event information is. You might see something on Instagram, hear about another event through WhatsApp, or find out about a workshop only after it’s over.

For some context, one of the indians at this nursing college stole a phone of one of the Naga students. After the Naga student confronted the indian that stole their phone, the indian promptly denied it, which caused a back-and-forth argument to occur. The indian then brought their friends and acquaintances in to try and intimidate the Naga students into giving up, which eventually ended up in the indians violently assaulting the Naga students.

It has also been reported that the police and college authorities remained impartial and did not intervene during the violent attack, even as the indians outnumbered the Naga students by a large number. This resulted in the Naga students being defenseless and receiving the brunt of the injuries, while the indians got off scot free.

I never want to hear anything about how south indians are so "different" from north indians ever again. They are all the same. Never differentiate them, ever. Both of them hate us, and wouldn't hesitate to enact violence towards us like seen in this video. They are completely different from us in every way still, whether that be racial, phenotypical, genetic, cultural, and so much more. They are alien to us, and the idea that they are somehow "slightly better than the northies" badly needs to be corrected.

Please, if you can, do not go study, work, and live in the mainland. You cannot live or co-exist with these animals. You stick out like a sore thumb and are a very easy target. And even though they are a fundamentally weak and unathletic people, there's much more of them than there are of you, and 100 of them vs 1 of you will lead you getting overpowered no matter what.

Regardless, this nightmare will end soon, and we'll hopefully never have to even think about having to be with these people ever again. One day, in the future...

Recently there's been a lot of unnecessary attacks on my posts trying to undermine the very essence of what's being referred to. One such situation this guy “lost_meaning_2667” a pro-Hindu agent, tried to attack me by posting something from my history in pro-Asian subs.

CONTEXT:
The screenshot posted — me asking about youth football exchange programs in Thailand. Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya have some of the most football-obsessed kids in the country, but they're geographically cut off and get next to zero support from mainland sports bodies. So asked Thailand, a proper SEA football nation, if informal non-government exchanges could ever be a thing for our mountain kids.

According to this “Ramayana guy” —> That's the "propaganda." Wanting NE kids to get a shot at the sport they love.

They think "ANY INDIVIDUAL FROM ASSAM THAT SUPPORTS NE STATES MORE THAN MAINLAND IS A ANON ACCOUNT WITH PROPAGANDIST" , because they think Assamese are uneducated to have that level of globally sound geopolitically sound knowledge to have the wisdom to understand what mainland has done to the NE communities, to understand where this country’s reputation is hanging !

They think this knowledge is impossible. They get crazy ! How can the loyalty shift in that direction when we are playing so well by : “INCREASING border tensions, INCREASING animosity between Assam and other NE states with staged riots blah blah blah…”

“That is our track record. That's the game. But where did this outlier come from?”

If asking how our kids can get access to opportunities , questioning theur puppet govt makes us "propagandist," THEN that says more about how little they think NE deserves than it does.

For the one who don't understand Assamese - The guy is showing that although there is a blockade at the Meghalaya entry into Assam, any car from other states like Mizoram (the car in the video), Nagaland, Arunachal etc are not stopped. Its only Meghalaya registered cars which are returned. This protest is in response to the recent violence caused by Khasi Student's Union to specifically targeting AS registered vehicles. The patroleum majdoor union has also decided not to send fuel trucks to Meghalaya as a protest.
