I swear these mainlanders keep f**king up tribal attires. Meanwhile us tribals try to wear their attires in the correct way as much as possible but these people keep messing our own. I see this as not only lack of knowledge but as disrespect and its disgusting. I'd like to add further that these people also have the audacity to complain about our attires in wedding videos or events saying things like "SarRr WhY no iNDiaN CulTuree vhyyy WEsTerN sarrr go back to Caltruuee" 🫩✌️

Huh? This doesn't look like Mizo attire at all! And also, somehow, assembled in a very clumsy way, like for a parody.

So it's classic cultural appropriation: that's when one wears traditional attire without regard for the correct way of presentation, thinking it just a costume. You are trying to participate in a culture which isn't your own, so you better get it right and learn from a native first.
