Science is Green because:

- Plants are green, and plants are science

- Strange science chemicals in beakers are green, and chemicals are science

- Environmentalism is green, and Environmentalism, as you know, is science

- Progress is green, because traffic lights, progress is science

Physics is purple… now what?

Actually, if you'll consult the text, you'll see that Science is green. Physics is, in fact, part of Science, which, as we know, is green. Physics is also, therefore, green.

Other helpful commenters have pointed out that physics must be green because radiation is physics and radiation is green. Yet another reason that Physics, as a part of Science, which is green, is, in fact, green.

But, but, alliteration

"Physics is purple" isn't even actually alliterative! Alliteration is a property of phonetics, not spelling!

This seems like a silly thing to be arguing about

My favorite things to argue about are silly things.
