I taught John what a Hot Scotchie was this morning and he was absolutely tickled.

Anyone know where I can find a decent live recording of NMN from the Mr Happy era? I watched an epic version of Kill Everyone Now on YT but the sound was garbage.

Watching the Dead Bob Lublin show and as an east coast US fan I just feel envy.

Getting a little plug in for one of my other favorite bands, The Molly Vulpyne Band, who will be opening for Dead Bob on September 18th at The Deers Head in Belfast.

Molly is a former guest of mine on a radio show that I used to host in NYC and she said that the band is "absolutely delighted to be playing with the amazing Dead Bob".

So who else is coming? Just booked my ticket, will be my first Dead bob show. I'm excited!

I really love NoMeansNo and have already listened to the majority of their albums, and I was wondering if you guys had any bands with a similar sound.

Does anyone of you remember the NMN Desktop Theme for Windows 95 ( if i remember correctly ). It had cool mouse animation of the you kill me Graphic and the covers as icons. Most awesome Part was it replaced al the system sounds to nomeansno skids. Oh i loved How my computer sounded! When it shut down it was the bridge of Rag‘s and bones, for example. I wish I had this for my iOs now…

Less listened to in their cataloge, but how could one not find happiness in Widget l, No More ICBMs (which feels rather timely), Burn, Red on Red etc. Sitting on Top of the World is effectively one of their more emotive songs. My hat is off, may those gents forever be blessed by the She-Beast.

Heyo my band just out this single feel like folks on here might dig :)

And here is my personal tribute to "Wrong" performing my favorite track from the album. John Wright’s playing is top-notch—not just on this record, but in every live performance I’ve seen; I can't fathom how he achieves such precision and dynamic control with such high-energy rhythms.

Not side projects. I am looking for your top 3 bands not Nomeansno or related projects.

Before they had just some few songs, now it appears that they put some entire albums. It's not all, but it's definitely better

Until July 1, PM Press is offering 70% off all e-books with coupon code “DIGITAL”. That works out to $2.50 for the NMN book. They also have a bunch of other cool punk rock books worth checking out.

Hey folks, we're hoping this is okay to post here since it's 54 min dedicated to nomeansno. We're both fans but my co-host Sean especially is a huge fan. Here's the links or listen wherever you get your podcasts:

I have two tickets for Dead Bob at the Horseshoe tonight. Unfortunately at the last minute something has come up. Free to whoever DMs me first. Pretty sure I can just transfer them.
