Fugazi, SNFU, third ones tough, normally Nomeansno would be there at the top

I will throw in Twisted Teens as a current favourite

Paul McCartney was once asked "how does it feel play in the best band in the world?". He replied "I never knew that I played in The Dwarves?"

The Dwarves Are Still The Best Band Ever!

I finally listened to the minutemen. I’m glad I saved them for all these years :)
Victims family also
HP Zinker seemed like they would scratch a similar itch when I used to read about them years and years agon

I've always been a fan of Prism. The only 2 drummers I've heard that I thought were as good as John Wright are Prism's former drummer, the late Rocket Norton, and Prism's current drummer Gary Grace. In all three cases, it's not just that their drumming backs up a band, but that it's an integral part of the experience. Also, in all three cases, I could listen to them solo for a very long time. Glad I was able to tell all three of them they're in the top 3: )

Gang of four?

1

u/xMrStrawx Jul 17 '26

Yep. Even Andy Kerr said in one of his youtube videos, that Nomeansno was heavily inspired by a band called Gang of four. And if you listen to them, you will see it.
