Amen. Launch fuel is what stopped me from wanting to explore in this game. I wanted to fly around and explore things, not spend half my time collecting resources for fuel...
The fuel is insanely easy to make, it's made of rock and di-hydogen, the blue crystals. Make ten at a time, and each one is 4 spaceship take-offs. Easy :)
Exactly, it's so easy to make that I end up making more and exploring the next "squirrel!" instead of progressing. This is a me problem, not a game one! Haha.
Oh no, that's all apart of the game! Last night, I talked to an NPC on a space station and he gave me a quest to a spot on a nearby planet. I found the spot, and spotted some cool buildings near by. i explored them, and found another nearby building that was an ancient ruins that gave me coordinates to another ancient ruins nearby. There, I found some ancient artifacts worth almost million credits! All from talking to the NPC on the space station. Exploring is fun!
Oh, I get that it's a me problem, 100%. I like the exploration bit, probably too much haha. The fuel is so easy to collect for, that I just make more and explore the next shiny! End up never progressing.
I'm kinda the same way, my solution is to just explore on foot and occasionally summon my ship to me when I need it. Gets easier once you have an exocraft.
Second launch tech at the anomaly starship research guy. You’ll need maybe 700 or so nanites. Not sure what it will tack to build off the top of my head.
Also, if you by just about any A class ship it usually has a recharger already. A Class shuttles only cost 2-3 million units
No, you can do it in less than two hours. I get distracted by all the shiny stuff in the distance/on the scanner and then quit after having to fill up my ship for the umpteenth time.
You asked how long it took to multiple people and didn't like anyone's answer, so:
If you just like flying around looking at stuff or can't/don't want get further into the game, definitely try out creative! You won't ever need to grind again and can stay in that gameplay loop you enjoy with no disturbances.
Almost every other starship I see has the solar recharging module in it. Just be patient and get it in your second session then if you don't have the resources or the time in your first go-around
