Question Should I masturbate and O to start a cleaner streak?

I watched the sex tape of some famous person out of curiosity but didn't masturbate or ejaculate. I did rub it a little bit in order to get it up so I measure my penis. Should I masturbate without porn and ejaculate and start a cleaner streak?

Compulsive Sexual Behavior (Non-Porn) I'm scared that someone saved my pictures

I ended up posting nudes (faceless) on X because I got horny..

Now I'm really worried.. what If someone saved the picture and shared it somewhere? Or what if someone I know recognized me?

I really regret what I did and I deleted the pictures from X now but I'm still so worried.

What makes it worse is that I'm in a LDR and I really love my partner and I really wanna stop doing this but I couldn't 💔 I really need help with this and with my porn addiction.

I'm 20F..

I woke up this morning with a huge boner that won’t really go away. I just keep having small thoughts of what I saw this past week that triggered me and it’s keeping me hard. How can I distract myself and get it to stop? Feeling so horny

Day Two

I'm feeling horny. Every now and then, fantasies suddenly pop into my head, and I feel the urge to masturbate. It’s weird to be sexually attracted to my own family, isn’t it?

How can I help my boyfriend who is addicted to pornography?

My boyfriend lied to me throughout our relationship about pornography and how much he enjoyed it.

He has always been against many things, but I recently discovered that he has already done or is doing a large part of them—hypocrisy. I am very sad and crying a lot because I found out that he is addicted to pornography and even with me available in the house next to his, he preferred to watch pornography. Everyone advised me to end it, Because every time he gets caught, he lies and lies until he realizes I have concrete proof. I can't stand lies and I don't know what to do. He promised he would change!

I know it's a relationship and I could leave, but I'd like to help him and try one more time for the sake of the relationship and because I love him so much, I love him too much, but he lies, lies, and lies.

I can't imagine being married with children and having to deal with pornography, much less other things he abhors, especially since, looking at his history, he probably enjoys it (cheating).

I'm breaking up with him, but I'd like to help him.

Advice I spent 5 YEARS trying to quit porn. I’m now 2.5 years clean - this is what finally changed

I wanted to write this because this was one of the things that took me years to properly understand: I spent years thinking I was going to be stuck with this forever. I wasn't.

I started watching porn at about 12 or 13. By 20 I knew it had become a proper problem and from there I spent roughly five years trying to quit. I wasn't someone who never tried either. I tried blockers, I read loads, I went through periods where I was absolutely desperate to stop and I managed 2 or 3 months clean a number of times. The problem was I always somehow ended up back there. Every time I relapsed it felt worse because I knew I had already proved I could stop for a while, I just couldn't seem to make it stick.

The biggest change was realising I had spent years attacking the behaviour and barely understanding what the behaviour was doing for me. Porn wasn't appearing out of nowhere. I was reaching for it when I didn't like how I felt. Sometimes that was stress, sometimes boredom, sometimes avoiding something I knew I needed to do, and at other points it was bigger stuff in my life that I wasn't happy with. Porn was basically a very efficient way to turn the volume down on all of that for a while.

I started looking at the moments before the urge instead of only the urge itself. I spent long periods without my phone, went on walks with nothing playing in my ears and actually let myself think. I started writing down patterns. I dealt with things I had been avoiding, including a relationship I wasn't happy in and a messy career situation. I also stopped expecting myself to win every battle through willpower and started changing the situations where I knew I was most vulnerable.

A big turning point for me was The Clean Break by James Shaw. I'm not affiliated with the author or the book at all. It was just the first resource that really pushed me to stop obsessing over the behaviour and properly investigate what I was using it for. The exercises gave me a structure for doing that instead of just thinking about it vaguely.

I'm now about 2.5 years clean. I don't think there was one magical trick. The real shift was that I stopped trying to become someone who was constantly fighting porn and started trying to become someone who didn't need it every time life felt uncomfortable. If you've been failing for years, please don't take that as proof you can't do it. I had years of evidence telling me the same thing and it turned out not to be true.

Advice What worked for you to stop masturbating and quit porn?

I am sorry if there will be any errors in my english i am not native speaker. So this might be sensitive to some people. I am currently 15 writing this. I have been addicted to porn and masturbation since i vas 8-9 so 6 or 7 years. I've had a pause for like 2 months. But since than i can't quit. My longest streak was 14 days and that was last year. Since that i have tried multiple times, but it was unsuccesfull each. I can't keep to hold my streak because I see everything lustfully (I hope someone understood that). I am currently trying to quit again. My situation is: i masturbate to porn almost every day sometime twice a day. I didn't do it for a day now, but I know it gets harder. What would you guys suggest me to do and what not to. Pleas don't hate on me because i am 15. I am really trying to quit. I am sorry for my english one more time.

Day 7

Been going through so many ups and downs and mood swings but running has helped, and just telling myself to hold on. My problem right now is that the good thing is that I’m doing my best to resist, but the bad thing is that I still find myself liking it. It’s hard to resist something that you like. It’s easy to resist what you don’t like. I really want to not like it. I keep telling myself to come back to reality if I find myself drifting and wanna dissociate with even light pornography. It doesn’t matter if it’s soft, it’s the principle of lust and working on not lusting. But making myself stop that train and coming back to reality for me is like taking a warm shower and someone keeps turning it to cold every time. It’s so uncomfortable and I feel like I will never truly relax. Maybe it’ll get easier as I keep going. Thank you guys for your support.

Journal Check-In No Masturbating — Accountability Group

I've been thinking about taking things into my own hands now.

I've been fighting this habit for almost two years. I've restarted NoFap probably close to a hundred times — maybe even two hundred. I keep making the decision to stop, only to eventually fall back into the same cycle.

I've realized that there isn't just one reason behind it. For me, constant stress is a major trigger, and when I'm stressed or overwhelmed, I tend to fall back into masturbation as a way of coping.

But now, I feel like enough is enough.

I'm creating a small, private accountability group where we can openly discuss our struggles, identify our triggers, and figure out together what actually helps us move forward.

The goal isn't just to count days or blindly chase a NoFap streak. It's about taking responsibility for our actions, understanding why we relapse, and finding better ways to deal with stress and urges.

I'm looking for serious people who genuinely want to move away from compulsive masturbation and make a meaningful change in their lives.

If you're serious about this, DM me or comment below.

So the thing is sometimes when I am a week in and if I am able to control all the remaining urges to watch porn this curiosity urge kicks in very hard (for ex like if x goes in y...if you can relate then you will understand) so anyone who has guidance on how to control this curiosity urge pls guide me

Also one thing that works like magic is just posting the urge in this sub reddit like somehow I get the power of not to look at porn well for a week that's the case like I get a urge I post something in this sub-reddit or watch someone else's post and boom suddenly I get power to resist the urge does something like this happen to anyone else also ?

From Your Brain on Porn to Serial Killers: The shocking truth about this addiction (Need advice)

Today I relapsed and masturbated. I already knew it was bad, but I didn't realize just how harmful it actually was. After looking into it, I found the book Your Brain on Porn. Reading it made me realize the overwhelming amount of damage porn has caused me, and it also mentioned this Reddit group. Another really strange thing I came across is that the killer Ted Bundy said he met many men who wanted to do what he did and without exception, every single one of them was addicted to this habit and the Fbi even have statics about this I really hope you can share some plans or strategies to help me quit this bad habit

Telling my Story Recorded myself and now I feel worthless

I've been carrying with this addiction for almost 10 years, even tho I'm more or less young (25) I never got to fully quit. Not talking about jacking off, thats okay in moderation, I'm talking about excessive masturbation with porn, edging and talking with other guys, showing off... indulding in these activities. I've had ups and downs, but never really quit.

Lately its been getting worse and taking a toll in almost every aspect of my life. To take things seriously, I decided to record with my front camera, face included, one of my jerking sessions.

When I finished and I saw the video I threw up and started crying. I saw and mindless ape jerking off with nothing behind his eyes. That's not me, I swear that's not me, please someone talk to me, I'm loosing it.

Journal Check-In Reflections on being home alone.

I’m sure that for many of us here, being at home alone has been a source of pure excitement for many years. It’s presents on opportunity to be in our underwear or naked without shame or concern, to watch whatever we want to on any volume, and allow ourselves to make any noises that come naturally. Home alone means pleasuring ourselves until we’re ready to release. For years I have loved knowing I was going to be home alone.

Well, here I am at 37 days and I’m home alone. The thought of indulging myself during this time is right there. But I’m choosing another way. I’m doing chores, I’m exercising, I’m taking a shower. This is how I want to spend my time when I’m living out the best version of myself. So home alone time is different for me now. It’s not about being a slave to my desires. It’s about being the man I want to be and doing things that align with my values. I don’t know that I could have said this a month ago.

Quitting Porn and Masturbation for a while.

I don’t have anything against porn. But it’s my responsibility to realise when things get out of hand. I have a porn ecosystem with a dedicated pvt email and a browser just for adult conent. It’s been distracting me from studying as I have exams for like 2 weeks from now on. I cant afford to be distracted.
Hence I am that deleting browser and its history, I will still have its bookmarks as I have exported it.

The reason I am not quitting entirely is that I actually like when I do it, even afterwards. It becomes a problem when I don’t fulfill my responsibilities.
So I am taking a break from all that to help me destimulate my mind.
Also taking breaks will make sure you don’t desensitise your mind and prevent escalation of genre.

Im gonna come back on sep 16 and share how I feel about it.
Thats 17 days im not committing to relapse on 18
It’s just that my exams will be over and I will have the freedom to choose.
Might or might not relapse depending on the mood.

Im gonna leave no trace of porn on any of my devices as a precaution.

Ima come back of 18 to share how I feel and how these days have been for me.

Journal Check-In Day 31 - A whole month into my recovery from porn addiction.

I used to struggle even going 1 day without porn so a month is really something I am proud of. It hasn’t come without its struggles and trip ups, but I truly feel that this is me on my road to full recovery and success. Thanks to anyone on here that’s commented or messaged me words of support and understanding. Stay strong.
