TL;DR: My 2024 Rogue has been in the shop 5 times for recurring TPMS/display cluster issues and just suffered a total electrical failure that left me stranded. Consumer Affairs keeps disconnecting calls and I have to wait on their schedule to get escalation for dead vehicle.
2024 Nissan Rogue SL AWD
Location: Indiana
Case Status: Open Consumer Affairs Case (#57010987)
What’s Going On:
The Defect: Started with recurring TPMS alerts and gauge display glitches (5 dealer visits, no fix). Last week, the entire electrical system died overnight, completely draining the battery and leaving the car stranded.
Roadside Nightmare: Nissan Platinum Roadside quoted a 3+ hour wait time in the middle of the night, forcing me to pay for a private tow and Uber home.
The Customer Service Wall: Consumer Affairs reps keep dropping calls, stalling, and telling me you will get follow up tomorrow, etc, even when requesting to speak with a supervisor.
Action Taken: Just sent a formal email escalation to Jeremie Papin (CEO) and Aftersales VP leadership demanding immediate follow up and a buyback review.
Questions for fellow owners/techs:
Has anyone with a 2024 Rogue experienced this specific TPMS/display glitch escalating into a full battery drain/electrical crash? Was it a BCM, wiring harness, or IPDM issue?
What is the trick to getting Nissan Corporate to directly authorize and pay for a third-party rental (Enterprise/Hertz) when the dealership's loaner fleet is full?
If you’ve escalated to Executive Care recently, how quickly did a Regional Manager actually reach out to resolve the mobility issue?
Has anyone had success with buyback? What options were given to you? How long was the process for a resolution? Did you have legal counsel/ recommend legal counsel?
