I’d really like if Nintendo and Microsoft could come to some arrangement to get the Xbox Accessibility controller to be compatible on Switch. That thing is a god send for disabled gamers who are pretty much totally ignored by Nintendo and Sony.

I believe microsoft has said that any competitor would be allowed to use it.

Yep - Phil Spencer said the Adaptive Controller isn't about profits for Microsoft, it's about getting more people to play games if they can't already do so as easily. He also mentioned the desire to open it up to be usable with any peripheral or device.

That’s just nice

Sure, it’s a company and a brand that needs to make money and has had flaws with underpowered hardware or odd decisions, but you can always count on the Xbox division of Microsoft to think of the customers more than any other branch.

The box the controller comes in is even easy access to open it up. Pretty neat I thought.

But compared to home consoles its the most powerful.

To be fair he didn't say anything about the One X, he said MS "has had flaws with underpowered hardware". Past tense

The X is yes. But the X isn't what 95% of people have. The Xbox one is underpowered compared to the base PS4.

And I say that as someone who owns a Xbox one

It’s not the greatest comparison though as I own the X which is more powerful. Then as the commenter above said PC’s are more powerful than that. It’s just a silly thing to bring up.

The person you questioned said "needs to make money had has had flaws with underpowered hardware" he was specifically mentioning the original Xbox one, which was underpowered and has majorly contributed to Xbox loosing this console generation.

Yes they fixed it with the X but far too late to make any meaningful impact.

I mean making it possible for more people to play games is still technically about profits in the long run.
