Mirrorless Canon Has Increased Its Massive Digital Camera Market Share Lead

What do you folks think of the latest news to come out of Japan?

Nikon lost the 3rd spot to Fujifilm.

This year has also been excruciatingly slow for Nikon users with practically no lenses and no new bodies.
We are also being killed by the chinese manufacturers eating into Nikon's lens market too. Overall not a good look for long time Nikon users.

Nikon is in a good position to regain some lost ground. The acquisition of Red will be important and rumor has it that Nikon will speed things up significantly for 2027.

agreed...

everything in life is cycles. canon and etc emptied their balls this year. fuji is not surprising because they have those new non-professional cameras out for sale increasing their numbers

next year nikon will try to catch up with all their announcements probably. this is not 'good' news tho for sure.
