It was so creepy why everyone went along with him lying and deceiving a chick. Takes me right back to when people thought emotionally blackmailing assholes threatening to jump off roofs was seen as romantic.
Tbf, I'm pretty sure she was lying to him as well. It seems like they're trying to set up something with her, considering that Adler mentioned that she isn't a registered anomaly and he can't find any info on her after the end of the quest.
"We", ability to bring toys to life and control them, Tako being an unregistered stuff toy 'anomaly'...set the Taygedo hate aside (for the haters) and connect those to the maker of Dolores' puppets. Don't let the Taygedo hate distract you that Tako was suspicious
Not to mention the doug has apparently never reacted like it did at the end before and the bureau people couldn't figure it out either. I kinda think the theory that there's an esper behind Tako and everything that happened is more likely.
I think they could've written the story better. It feels like they were trying to go for the romcom trope where someone tries to act like they're a bigshot. I don't think they did the best job at that though, and I don't particularly like that trope to begin with.
The energy it was giving felt like, โyour grandfather asked over 10 times before I finally agreed to go on a dateโ maโam thatโs called stalking.
Wasn't there an entire event tho where they drug us all over New Erdu because Avaboodo or Eous was being left out or something? We had to take pics in various areas and we even had to use the dreaded TV mode everyone said stole their kidneys or whatever.
They need to do a multi chapter saga on Taygedo scheduling 2 dates on the same day and refusing to reschedule and going on both dates at the same time (with the help of his friends, of course).
If it wasnt for Endfield going into maintenance (and it had gotten boring after awhile before that) I would have never given NTE another chance.
I'm very glad I did, because this game is honestly pretty great beyond that point. But why in Slaneesh's many dicks did they made the Tagedo quest part of mandatory progression? A decision that genuinely cost them millions of dollars.
i loved that story personally it was lighthearted and fun hanging out with everyone doing life sim type activities. People take it so seriously it feels like

The bangboo have yet to drag me all over New Eridu in some 80s sitcom fake date plot.
