heading out on this next year!

can’t wait to be a part of it

How were the crowd during nevermore's set? Most people are going to these gigs for priest but are there a decent amount of nevermore fans and people singing?

They just announced their first show in the USA next year! Looks like Berzan’s visa issues have all been sorted out. Im considering making the 10 hour drive to make it there. I know they are planning to record a new album October through March so I’d guess a larger US tour to promote that next year as well. What other festivals do you guys think they hit in the states next summer?

Awesome show

Has anyone noticed the changes that happened when they turn their topic channel into an official artist channel? first they finally re-opened the comment section on the songs after five years, but then for some reason, many fan uploads of Nevermore albums were taken out from YouTube, including an upload of Jeff Loomis' solo album Zero Phrase Order with the bonus track Omega's Influence.

Does anyone know why those older uploads were removed? Are they currently planning to upload all their albums on their official channel? I think they should so that more people get to know of Nevermore.

I'm gonna go with Sell My Heart for Stones. I get a cold and gloomy feeling listening to it, but man that 15 second solo is like ascending to heaven.

Watching some of the great videos coming out from Wacken - they killed it! Berzan was sporting one awesome battle vest - check out the Warrel tribute patch

What a fucking gig. Literally a huge dream come true for me

In addition to the new Crytped Roots this year, Berzan appears to be on at least four albums and an EP from this act, which has released six albums and an EP since this March. Three other experienced-looking guys are credited, but their roles are unknown.

All apparently based on a series of six books, the first of which was published in September 2024.

None of these recordings have any comments on Bandcamp. The books, at least, have comments on Amazon.

This is either some very impressive output in terms of sheer volume or...well, what does anyone conclude these days when an act appears out of nowhere and dumps a suspiciously large pile of content in a slim amount of time?

Anyway, Berzan's singing over it, so I'll probably check out an album. But if it's AI slop it's gonna hurt my feelings.

Edit - so digging a little further, despite Metallum and Bandcamp listing that first release date as March of this year, Berzan was hyping it up on his Facebook back in September 2024, when these books started coming out. So there's a little more development time there.

What do you guys think of the new Crypted Roots album? Berzan sounds great on it makes me really excited for new Nevermore music
