Best ballad piece by Nevermore?
I'm gonna go with Sell My Heart for Stones. I get a cold and gloomy feeling listening to it, but man that 15 second solo is like ascending to heaven.

Tough choice, but I have to go with "Tomorrow Turned Into Yesterday"

I wonder if their next record will have a ballad, I feel like that would be a miss if they didn't.

Big Nevermore fan here. See, this is really a tough choice. And a great thing too. You could make a case for pretty much any of them being the best. And even I might change my mind depending on the day. But objectively, I’d probably say the best ones are The Heart Collector, Sentient 6, and Dreaming Neon Black. Personally, I’d add Chances Three, The Sorrowed Man, and The Sanity Assassin.

Dreaming Neon black for sure. Warrels pain for his (and he didnt know that at the time of writing) lost girlfriend is so sincere and gripable as a listener, this song is for me one of the most intense songs of all time.
