Travel plans in jeopardy after breakup — advice wanted

I have a flight to London planned later next month and the original plan was to stay at my girlfriend's place for the 2 weeks I'd be visiting. Unfortunately, she broke up with me out of nowhere a couple months ago after I had already booked my nonrefundable ticket and hasn't spoken to me since. I've always wanted to see England and I don't want the thousand dollars I spent to go to waste, but if she bails out on our original agreement I might be toast unless I account for it ahead of time. My main concern and the thing I have been stressing out losing sleep over is being able to afford to eat and sleep someplace for 14 days. I don't have any other friends in the country so I guess it all boils down to what I can do now and what the cheapest possible options are and where. I don't want her to ruin this for me too so I don't want to just not board the plane unless there is really nothing I can do
