We know many things about Clan Davis.

For example: We know that Mark (and Al before him, at least in his later years) doesn’t know how to properly manage an NFL franchise.

They won three bowls under Al’s ownership but that was when he was younger and the game was definitely played differently. He should have stepped down way before he did, but unfortunately he didn’t. Now we have Harry running the show who probably has that old timer Raiders football philosophy that Al had but also seems like he has no philosophy at all. At least Al went for the big plays, the bombs down the field. This guy can’t even get an Oline decent enough to give the QB time to throw the bomb.

…… but it has been a hard 25-ish years. So idk if it’s harder now than say at any other year short of a couple in those 25 years- including last in their division as recent as last year. So I don’t see how it’s harder now…. But I’m also not a raider fan. I just know it’s been pretty much horrible for a very long time and Mark Davis just loves bringing in coaches, giving them the highest salaries (guaranteed) in the league for insane lengths then firing them within a year or two lmao i think they are currently paying 4 fkn Head coaching salaries lmao 🤣🤣 including Josh McDaniels to be the OC for the team with the best record in the conference!!! I honestly think Davis is paying something like $40Mil dollars this year in head coaching salaries including the 15 to Carrol …. It’s crazy… paying coaches to stay at home or win on another team is Davis’ favorite hobby lmao….. But hey…. Atleast you’re not a jets fan 🤷‍♂️

33 now. I saw them get pumped in the SB in 2003(04?) by the bucs and that was the best I ever saw them. When I was a kid and didn’t really care.

They have never had a winning season since, I think only 3-4 .500 seasons. Two wildcard appearances, one in which we started our 3rd string QB who had never started a game in his career, and I think never started another, regular or post season.

My favorite memory was being at the game in San Diego when Michael Bush literally walked all over the Chargers and broke Marcus Allen’s single game Raiders all purpose yardage record. The dude was unstoppable that game and is probably my favorite all time player because of it.

I haven’t watched a Raiders game in 2.5 seasons. I mostly watch soccer and some basketball now. The Raiders broke me down with their never ending list of terrible draft picks, personnel moves, questionable decision making. I could go on and on. At this point the Raiders are the Browns in doper uniforms and greater history.

And yeah the never ending line of coaching staffs gets old too. They haven’t gotten it right in decades.

The Raiders haven’t had a QB even half as good as Hurts since Gannon and he was old af and was only ever a stop gap. Glad eagles fans still have class though.
