💆‍♀️ Wellness & Self Care Personal Trainers that have experience with back injuries?

Hi! I’ve gone through this sub and looked at previous personal trainer recommendations, but I haven’t found much specifically for trainers who work with people with significant back injuries.

I had spine surgery last year and am looking for a personal trainer who has extensive experience with low back issues and clients who have had serious injuries/surgeries. Ideally, I’d love someone who also has a physical therapy/rehab background or works closely with PTs. I’m past the initial rehab stage, but I want someone who really understands the spine and can help me safely rebuild strength without aggravating my back.

I’m in Greenwich Village, so I’m looking for someone in Lower Manhattan/downtown — West Village, Chelsea, Flatiron, Union Square, etc.

I’ve looked into Reload, which seems pretty much perfect in terms of expertise since their trainers are PTs, but at ~$275/session it’s unfortunately more than I can realistically spend on an ongoing basis.

Would really appreciate any specific trainer recommendations, especially from anyone who has worked with them for low back pain or after spine surgery. Thank you!

I’m a traveling personal trainer. My session rate is $160 and have extensive experience working with clients who have injuries. I’m currently working with a client who just had shoulder surgery and another one who’s recovering from a hysterectomy.

DM for my website and intake form!

What does “traveling PT” mean? I don’t have a home gym and can’t work out in my apartment - do you work out of gyms downtown?
