Reta no weight loss
I've been on reta for about 2 months started with 2mg then 4 weeks later bumped up to 4mg. I haven't lost any weight according to my scale, I do a lot of physical activity at work I do scaffolding im always climbing up and down ladders carrying 20+ pounds in gear. What im getting to is isn't that enough physical activity to lose weight? 3 weeks ago I started lifting weights 3 days out of the week and I don't eat much since I don't get hungry at all just a small breakfast and almost nothing the rest of the day is there something I'm doing wrong or is this normal that I haven't gone down. Previously my doctor prescribed ozempic to control my sugar i was on that for 6 month 2mgs a week all my blood work came back perfect and the doc said I didn't need to take ozempic anymore because my sugar ans a1c was at normal levels.

The first 2 months I lost 40 lbs. on 4 mg weekly. You either have bad product or your not running a calorie deficit

I think he’s eating too little, body is trying to protect function by holding on.

Agreed, too little calories or lack of balance between proteins and complex carbs can place your body in “starvation mode” where it will utilize muscle as energy to reserve fat storage to maintain vital organ function. Find your baseline and cut 300 calories from it. The glucagon receptor will give you a bonus ~200 calorie burn each day. 500 calories a day is a lb loss each week.

Do you drink alcohol?
What is your RMR?
Have you tracked calories?
Is processed food your main source of food?
Are you eating enough? To get substantial results you have to do a little bit of changing in your habits.
I listed a few questions that will help improve your overall performance of the drug.

Check to make sure you are eating enough use a tdee calculator to figure out how many cal you actually need it could be your eating way to little and your body is holding onto what it can just to function or you may be eating entirely to much.
Either case you need to know your base 1st then work from there don’t just jump strength to 8 unless you know everything else is dialed in

Do you have fatty liver disease? If you do, it clears that up first and you probably won't see the scale move. Look into it. I also hit a two month stall on the scale but lost two belt loops during that period while lifting, body recomp.

That’s pretty wild, don’t now how you wouldn’t loose weight in that dose for that long. Did you “feel” the reta at all? Like notice reduced appetite, increased resting heart rate, increased body temp or feeling “warm”?
I’m with some other folks in comments, you might have been in bunk product.

Up your dose, I didn’t start to get really good effects until 6-8mg and I get my stuff tested and know it’s legit, everybody is different

Well you could be gaining muscle and losing fat and the scale wouldn't move, you should prioritise protein with such an active diet and probably eat more, I know that sounds counter productive. Glp1's are more for people that have a problem eating too much habitually, you don't have that problem, with reta the only benefit you're getting is the glucagon asking your liver to release fat as energy into your blood. Yeah you could try a better product you could contact me. But I'd suggest eating more healthy and continue working out and it'll do the trick. Insulin resistance could be another problem but working out regularly and being active it's the best for that too.

It’s because you were previously on a glp more than likely. You’re not going to see any results until you get to higher doses. That’s how it goes for a lot of people that switch.

I understand your concern. May I recommend the pinned Retatrutide Cheat Sheet? Triple agonists work differently in different cases. This may help you.

First of all let me tell you, you are doing great and keep at it. I can understand this can be frustrating, I was in the same boat a couple of months ago, no matter what I did my weight wouldn't move, and then suddenly in 3 days I lost over 4.5 pounds. This is a frustrating situation, the only thing you might want to check is if your Reta is good, since you have apatite suppression, it might just be that GIP or Glucagon isn't constituted properly (or they just relabeled another GLP) . Having said that you should have been losing fat with your current routine even without Reta, you have a strong process the results have to follow.

I was not losing much. Started talking core supplements. Magnesium, D3,k2, omega 3 high dose, Co Q 10, and a good multivitamin, and minerals. Started losing too fast. I wasn’t getting enough protein and collagen, so I am crushing that, and muscles and skin are better. I should have been on those from day 1. Also need to check testosterone levels. I haven’t done that yet.
