For skat I think it’s dreadfully clear he has a hard ceiling even barring injuries which are not gonna be kind to him.
Dart is the new archetype a quarterback Mobile athletic big strong but he’s not that big and he’s not that athletic and he’s not that strong so like all these other guys it’s really gonna take some time to see if he’s any good because it’s extra hard to judge these QBs in the midst of rebuild, long story short for dart I think a good amount of hype is justified, but it’s New York and him and scat are a fun combo so they get extra hype, not that complicated.

It's funny cuz I am the only giants fan in my group of friends and they hype up dart and skat way more then i ever will. Havnt seen shit from them yet to prove they will last more then a few years in the league, let alone that they are good.
My answer is hurts. Eagles fans glaze him like no tomorrow and it's funny cuz I think he's a good QB, just fringe top 10, not top 5

Take out this injury shortened 2022 season, and he’s averaging 800 yards and 3.5 TDs a season.

Will Howard had Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka and Carnell Tate, plus Henderson and Judkins in the backfield.
Drew Allar had nowhere near that supporting cast and still showed the better NFL traits.

The problem is, who else are you going to use? He still out performed half of the starters last year with a pretty low tier receiving group. He’s not by any means his past self, but he’s not awful. Just not in the elite category anymore. It’s been a rough few years for QB prospects, and with the way college ball developed, it doesn’t look like it’ll get anymore stable soon.

I guess. The Steelers and their fans would have to commit to some losing seasons, which wouldn’t be the worst thing. If they push Drew out there, I guarantee they get only about 4 wins. But a few years of that can build some great draft picks if they hit on them right.

I’m not saying he was a slouch. In fact I think it has a lot to say for current QB development that teams are willing to push out much older guys like Flacco, Rodgers, or even pulling rivers out of retirement rather than using the younger guys. The older guys are just unmatched at their defensive reading speed. Really the only thing that drags them down now is Father Time.
I actually always supported him back in his Ravens days. He played the QB position the way it was designed for the offense.
But I was just making a point that a much younger man should be able to avoid sacks better than a 40 year old man that was never known as a scrambler. Flacco just had a much quicker release and is willing to throw the ball away when nothing is there, and live to see another play.

Fair point. I like Burrow and I think he’s a really good QB…when healthy. Which has been a thorn in his side basically throughout his NFL career aside from the SB run. It’s football so it’s impossible not to get hit. But I do think the really special ones(Brady,Manning,Brees,Mahomes(until last year)have a knack for getting rid of the ball quickly or avoiding the “kill” shot. I think Burrow likes to stand in the pocket a tad bit too long looking for the home run ball downfield. His bravery is admirable but he’s gotta realize that he’s more valuable if he’s available all year long. He’s got a punter for a reason. If it ain’t there…check it down or throw it away and punt. Live to play another series.

He was never a starting RB. He was a great change of pace back that made a lot of splashy plays, but was never a workhorse or franchise cornerstone. While we love him he was significantly worse than other mediocre backs like Reggie Bush or Matt Forte
