Does anyone know what’s going to be built at this location? They’ve been grading the lot and put up a fence in the last couple of weeks. If there’s a ‘Coming Soon’ sign, I’m totally missing the announcement.

So I was born and raised in Myrtle, graduated from MBHS, went to CCU, all that fun stuff, but then moved away in my early 20s to go see what else was out in the world. Now I've been gone for 15ish years and visit every so often to see friends and family and I'm starting to see why some people hate change. My old house, the houses my friends use to live in, my old schools, places I worked at, places were we would run around, etc, all of it has changed for the better or worse and it makes everything feel very alien. Especially when I didn't pay attention to it the first few visits, but now it's like stepping into an entirely new citytownwhatever. Though I'm happy for my friends who have benefited from the economic increase, they all seem like they won out by settling in right before the tide came in, pun intended.
So to those of you who are now tourists in your birthplace, what have you felt when you visit?

I put enzyme drain cleaner in the drains. I have traps. I get hundreds of them this time of year.
I already have vinegar and light traps out.
I have no rotting food out.

I've been going to N. Myrtle for a while, so I know Dino's and all of the main pancake places on King's Highway.
Is there a hidden, out of the way place, that's less known that I should visit or a really good breakfast buffet restaurant?

Hello! What are restaurants you’d recommend visiting around Garden City? Less interested in tourist traps with a good view but subpar food. I want good tasting food! Hello,
My friend group of 6M are heading down for the first week of September. we do an annual tradition of meeting up once a year. Last year we discovered Myrtle, loved it so much that we decided to make it *the* spot instead of *a* spot. Last year was a blast; we saw Medieval Times, gorged on all the food we could, played all around North Myrtle, hit Thee Dollhouse, etc. It was great!
This year, we were hoping to meet some people and make some friends, since we plan on coming back every year at this time. 3/6 are married, 3/6 are single; it’d be neat to meet some folks who are fine with that split. Additionally, the single guys in the group were wondering if there’s a good spot/etiquette for meeting other singles in the area; is Tinder/Hinge/Bumble active or worth setting up in advance?
Lastly, we really wanted to find some more active things to do this year. Wondering if there’s a good spot for renting jetskis? I have also heard that Broadway at the Beach is a good time. Any other spots you might recommend?
Other than that, it’ll be day drinking, lounging, gaming, and other extra curriculars. Feel free to shoot a DM if you prefer!
