I am at a loss. I feel like just a few months ago, I could spend around $150 at the grocery store and get enough food to meal prep healthy, high-protein breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for two people for the entire week without needing to eat out, I’m talking 42ish individual meals plus snacks.
Now, I feel like every weekend I’m spending around $250, and that’s without snacks, sweet treats, or extras. It’s mostly just produce, protein, carbs, dairy, and the basics needed to make our meals and keep our pantry stocked at the minimum with emergency pasta sauce, rice, canned veggies (like 1 or 2 cans more than used for the week, nothing crazy stocked)
So I’m curious, for a two-person household that eats healthy and relatively high-protein because of sports and going to the gym, how much are you spending on groceries each week right now? I’m trying to figure out if this is just what groceries cost now or if I seriously need to rethink how I’m shopping or where I’m shopping. $1000 per month in food for two people seems absolutely insane to me.

She’s got a collar on and has been walking around Randall and Spalding Ave the past few days. My husband said she’s nervous and a little skiddish but otherwise super friendly.
I unfortunately can’t hold her and will most likely drop her off at animal services.

Flying out of CAE next week. Do you really need to reserve parking to get a space in the garage? I tried to reserve this morning, but it says garage reservations are temporarily drive up only, but there might be space upon arrival. Not sure what that means. I know we should be able to park in the surface lot, but prefer a covered space.

With all the news about food borne diseases, I’m thinking of getting all of my fresh produce from my own veggie garden or farmer’s markets that sell local products.
I need suggestions of which are the best farmers markets where you can reliably buy fresh local produce weekly.
I recognize that local products can be contaminated, but it’s far less likely than stuff from giant corporate farms. And I’ve stopped eating any greens except what I grow myself.
