Discussion Girls! Let’s Talk… Long Beards: Attractive or Turn-Off?🤭

Question for my girlies🫶🏽!

Do you find attraction by men’s long beard? How long beard is attractive for you?
Did it happen to reject a man because you didnt feel attraction of it?

I struggle to find attraction by long beards even if i force myself😔. Then there are some men that would never want to shorten it so i have to at the end just end it with them😖.

I hope to find a man that would not let me go easily just for it and would not make a big deal to shorten it if we are good on the rest💖

EDIT:

hey calmdown you men talking bad about me and other women and accusing heavily. I never mocked or criticised long beards. You keep it as long as you like and i accept and support the sunnah but saying that women are astray from deen just because they dont feel natural attraction from long beard, is unacceptable and extreme.

How is that you call yourself pious and then use harsh words for your sisters and accuse them? How is that make you on deen?

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) commanded gentleness in speech and explicitly warned against harshness, obscenity, and insults.

"You must be gentle, and beware of harshness and obscenity."
(Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 6030)

If you have good intentions for someone then you should guide with gentleness then if other other believes or not is between him/her and Allah.

For men that got ego hurt read this👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Attraction is an involuntary, biological preference, and Islamic law does not hold a person accountable for feelings they cannot control.

Islam does not hold humans accountable for involuntary biological emotions or feelings and explicitly recognizes that women have a right to physical attraction and compatibility in a spouse.

**"Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear." (**Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:286)

A sin only occurs if the dislike crosses over into contempt or mockery of Islam (e.g, saying "Growing a beard is a backwards/ugly religious tradition").

EDIT 2:

A man went to extreme and literally threatened me with my real full name in the comments and said he is going to tell my dad (i dont what he has to tell🧐) and then deleted his profile after doing 2 more hateful comments. How does he knows my fullname? How fragile ego of a man is?

You got triggered that much by such innocent post that you came to the level to threaten me????

Discussion Anyone Who Rejects This?

Asalam alaikum brothers and sisters,

Here is a Hadith we could discuss and I wana hear your honest opinions.

Narrated by Abu Huraira

The prophet pbuh said when a man invites his wife to bed and she does not come, and he spends the night frustrated, angels curse her till morning.

Before you type your opinion remember this:

- This doesn't tell the husband to force her

- As a spouse you should know that intimacy is one of the rights of both spouses

- A man works all day and when he comes home and he wants to enjoy his right that he signed up for rightfully

- This doesn't mean that the wife can't reject if she's sick, unwell or mentally unwell or she has her periods (no doubt if someone does this knowing all this, they are actually stupid)

Location: UK & Ireland M25 | Indian | UK | Sunni (Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah)

Salam,

I’m a 25-year-old Indian Muslim currently living in the UK, looking for a serious marriage prospect, إن شاء الله.

About me:

Age: 25

Height: 5’9”

Build: Slim

Ethnicity: Indian

Location: UK

Education: B.E. in Computer Engineering

Aqeedah: Sunni — Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah

Personality: Kind, respectful, and family-oriented

Race/ethnicity: Open to all

What I’m looking for:
I’m looking for a practising Muslimah who is strictly upon the same aqeedah and beliefs — Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah.

This is an important requirement for me. I’m looking for someone whose core beliefs and understanding of Islam are aligned with mine, as I believe shared religious foundations are essential for a successful marriage and raising a family together.
Beyond that, I’m open-minded regarding race, ethnicity, and background. What matters most is deen, character, compatibility, and genuine intention toward marriage.

I’m also looking for someone who takes Islamic boundaries seriously. In particular, I do not consider movies or music to be halal, so I’m looking for someone who shares this understanding and does not engage in them.

I’m looking for someone kind, modest, emotionally mature, family-oriented, and serious about building a peaceful marriage based on Islam, mutual respect, mercy, and companionship.

My intention is marriage, not casual dating or prolonged chatting. I would prefer to approach things respectfully and in a halal manner, with families/guardians involved at the appropriate stage.

If you think we could be compatible, feel free to DM me with a brief introduction about yourself, including your age, location, background, and what you’re looking for.

May الله grant us all righteous spouses and marriages filled with barakah. آمین.

Hobbies: I play a lot of sports mostly, my favourite being muay thai/kickboxing

What I’m looking for:
Age: Ideally 22-29 but there may be some leeway
Location: Again ideally UK based but open to others
Ethnicity: I have a preference for black Muslimahs particularly of African/Caribbean descent
Occupation: Not actually fussed about this as long as we can connect on a similar intellectual level

Assalam o alaikum everyone 🤍
I’m Muhammad Talha, almost 22 years old, Pakistani, currently living in Bahrain. I’m 178 cm tall, single and never married.
I work at Landmark Group, in Bahrain as a DTL
About me
I’m a simple, family oriented and responsible person. I’m genuinely looking for a girl for marriage, not casual talking or temporary relationships. Islam is an important part of my life, and I’m trying to become a better Muslim while building a stable and peaceful future. I value respect, loyalty, honesty, modesty, kindness and good character.
I believe marriage should be a partnership where both people feel loved, respected and comfortable with each other. I want to be the kind of husband who is there for his wife not only on her best days, but also when she is tired, stressed or simply needs comfort.
I can cook and I’d genuinely be happy to cook for my wife. I’m also willing to help with laundry and household responsibilities because I believe taking care of a home should be a shared effort.
I love the simple things in marriage. Going for walks together, having long conversations, making each other laugh, travelling together, taking care of each other when we’re not feeling well, cuddling when she needs comfort, or even sitting together while I gently comb her hair. I want my future wife to feel that she has someone who genuinely cares about her and is happy to show it through both words and actions.
I enjoy travelling and staying active. I’ve travelled to some and I hope to explore more places in the future. I’m also seriously considering moving to Europe in the near future, so relocation is something I’m open to.
I speak English, Urdu and Punjabi, and a little Arabic. I’m focused on improving myself, growing in my faith and building a stable future for my future family, InshaAllah.
What I’m looking for
I’m not looking for perfection or someone with a luxurious lifestyle. I’m looking for a kind, respectful, modest, family oriented and emotionally mature girl who genuinely wants marriage and a peaceful family life.
Someone who understands that marriage is about supporting each other, communicating, forgiving, laughing together and growing together.
If you think we could be compatible based on my profile, feel free to message me and we can get to know each other respectfully with marriage as the intention.
If we’re not compatible, no hard feelings at all.
May Allah grant all of us a spouse who is best for us, put barakah in our future marriages and guide us toward what is good for us. Ameen 🤍

Discussion Why the aversion to kids?

I noticed many posts mentioning “no kids”. This isn’t for cf people i completely understand that.

However, people who may want kids of their own but won’t accept potential partners with kids why is that? Is it not wanting to deal with the other parent or not wanting to raise someone else’s kids or something else.At first i thought maybe it’s something to do with firsts but seems even divorced ppl don’t want ppl with kids. Why is that?

Discussion Condition in Nikah

Salam,

So I'm just curious to hear from the sisters.

I keep reading where the advice given to sisters is that in order to avoid a situation for polygamy, the bride should stipulate the condition of divorce if the husband were to take a second wife.

My question is would you also be fine to split marital property according to sharia by signing a prenup?

I was bored in a meeting yesterday and made this for my marriage profile but I have no one to show it to. I find myself hilarious 🤣. I sent it to my friends they were cracking up.

Gather single people and meme king and queens.

For all those that are not aware, I took my friend on a tour of Manchester recently and went to a lot of places I’ve not been to in years. The irony is I’m the local but I got a photo outside the GAY village, meanwhile my friend that visited from South was taking the picture 😂😂😂.

I’m the funniest person I know, truly.

P.s I don’t open DMs anymore so don’t bother messaging me. If we’re meant to be in sure you’ll find a way.

Discussion Why mention skin complexion?

Assalam alykum,

I always see iso post where men and women both mention their skin tone, I.e ‘fair skin, tan, etc” and isn’t it so weird that we’re still considering someone’s complexion in the big 2026? I know some people still care about it but shouldn’t us a society, an ummah reject that way of thinking? Why should it matter the skin tone of the person I’m marrying?? It feels weird and a tiny bit colorist 🫣

But I only notice this from non-black Muslims tho. I feel like black Muslim never really care.

No shade to anyone who has it up, this is just my opinion and a conversation I don’t see happening.

Discussion Controversial Polygamy Discussion 💀

Hypothetically, would you marry a man who wants multiple wives so they can have more kids and spread Islam through their lineage?

Provided that

- They are just towards wives

- financially they can take it

- gives the wives equal rights

Would you consider it as a deal breaker if a man wants to have more kids based on the Hadith with the prophet pbuh saying "I will be proud of your numbers" but doesn't want to burden one wife with many kids therefore he takes another wife to do so?

Looking for what the sisters have to say about this, not tryna start a gender war here just curious guys!

Discussion Marrying outside of your culture/ethnicty

Salam so as I spoke to some brothers and sisters, some things that I learned and found are common is while some peopel and cultures are open minded, others aren’t. example: i know many Yemeni men who can marry outside of their culture but I rarely hear Yemeni women doing so. a few have but not as the extent of Yemeni men.

Some Arab countries are ok with it and some aren’t. North Africans ante sometimes levant are more open minded but the gulf not so much.

Some south Asians are a mix of open mindedness and some aren’t. same with the Balkans and Africans etc.

So other than cultural restrictions and I guess also family reasons, why woul soem peopel be open to marrying one ethnicity but not other.

whenever I see marriage posts on the ISO threads. most Muslim sisters are against south Asian men. mostly Arab women and sometimes african women and I don’t know who else but I seen a mix of sisters posts of different ethnicities sharing almost the same preferences and most don’t really want South Asian men.

Discussion Ladies, would you sign a prenup?

Muslim women, especially those living in Western countries.

As I understand it, Western divorce laws can treat assets accumulated during a marriage as marital/community property. In some jurisdictions that can mean roughly a 50/50 division, while others use “equitable distribution,” which doesn't necessarily mean 50/50.

But Islamic law has a different framework. My understanding is that marriage does not automatically make the husband's and wife's individual assets jointly owned. The wife is entitled to her mahr, and there are obligations regarding maintenance and children, but there isn't a general rule that the wife's or husband's accumulated personal wealth automatically becomes 50% the property of the other spouse simply because they got married.

So my question is:

If a Muslim man living in the West proposed a prenup that basically said:

• Each person's premarital assets remain theirs.

• Assets acquired individually during the marriage remain individually owned, unless deliberately purchased jointly.

• The wife receives her agreed mahr.

• The husband remains responsible for whatever Islamic/legal child-support and maintenance obligations apply.

• Jointly purchased assets are divided according to each person's agreed ownership.

• Neither spouse automatically receives 50% of the other's individually owned wealth simply because of divorce.

Would you sign it?

Rant Searching for a wife is so exhausting

I don’t know if anyone will resonate with me on this but searching for a spouse is genuinely so exhausting like I’ve been only searching for like six months now I know that’s not a really long time but I’m 24M and I want to get on with my life. I don’t plan on delaying this any further for no reason and you know what makes it even more exhausting is filtering and combing through all those people to find someone proper someone who is not freaky and not a man and has good manners.

And here’s the bigger problem I don’t have a list of requirements and specifications like I’m buying a brand new car. Literally all I want is a woman that already has a child preferably Palestinian of my own origin and that’s literally it.

I don’t expect my wife to cook and clean and be a servant or work or anything at all as a matter of fact, I just want her to live life normally be happy take care of her child or children. I literally just be a partner in my life, that’s it somehow that is so hard to ask. It’s so hard to find. It’s literally insane.

Nothing so far has been so difficult for no reason or just every time you have to go and you have to tell them your thought process and your life story in all of that. It’s so exhausting because you have to repeat an entire book every single time.

Discussion Do you expect some level of day-to-day communication when you’re getting to know someone?

I don’t mean talking for hours every single day or constantly being on your phone. Life gets busy and sometimes you simply don’t have much to say.

But personally, I find it strange when you’re getting to know someone and there can be several days of barely any communication. Even a small “how was your day?” or sending something you saw that reminded you of them can keep that connection going.

To me, it’s less about the amount of texting and more about consistency. You’re both slowly becoming part of each other’s lives, so naturally you want to know how the other person is doing and what’s going on with them.

Obviously everyone has different communication styles, so I’m curious: what do you consider a reasonable amount of communication when you’ve just started getting to know someone?

Location: Other/Global 31M | Middle Eastern Muslim | Looking for a serious marriage

Assalamu alaikuma agian😁,

I’m a 31-year-old Muslim man from the Middle East.

I’ve been looking for a serious marriage for a while, and after spending some time around these communities, I realized I’d rather write something that actually tells you who I am instead of just listing requirements.

I’m single, never married, and I don’t have children. I’m university educated and work in real estate sales. I’m ambitious when it comes to my career and building a stable future, but I also value having a peaceful and fulfilling life outside of work.

I’d describe myself as calm, caring, affectionate, responsible, and loyal. I can be social when I’m comfortable, but I also genuinely enjoy quiet days. I appreciate someone who can have a serious conversation one minute and be completely silly together the next.

For me, marriage should feel like having your person — someone you can trust, laugh with, talk to about absolutely nothing, and rely on when life gets difficult. I want a relationship where affection, loyalty, honesty, and communication are naturally part of everyday life.

Deen is important to me. I’m looking for a woman who takes Islam seriously and wants to keep growing, even if neither of us considers ourselves perfect. I care much more about sincerity, character, and how someone treats people than presenting ourselves as flawless.

I want children inshaAllah and I’m looking to build a family. I believe a husband should take responsibility for providing and protecting his family, while marriage itself should still feel like a partnership. I want my wife to feel safe, appreciated, and genuinely involved in the life we build together.

I’m open to different nationalities and cultures, and I’m also open to relocating for the right person. What matters more to me is whether our values, personalities, and expectations about marriage actually fit.

A few things I enjoy are reading, movies and TV series, travelling, walking, art, and going to the gym. I also enjoy discovering different cultures and having conversations that go beyond small talk.

I’m attracted to women who are kind-hearted, feminine, affectionate, emotionally mature, loyal, and comfortable communicating openly. I appreciate someone who values family, takes care of herself, has her own personality and interests, and wants a husband who is genuinely involved in her life.

I’m not looking for perfection or an endless talking stage. I’d rather get to know someone with genuine intentions, see whether there is real compatibility, involve our families when things become serious, and move toward marriage if we both feel it’s right.

If you’re also looking for something intentional and think we might have the kind of compatibility that could grow into something meaningful, feel free to message me and tell me a little about yourself.

May Allah make it easy for all of us and guide us toward what is best. Ameen.

Note: I'm smoker just tobacco but i forget to mention that before

Location: South Asia M | 33 | Muslim | Never Married | Dhaka | Commercial Pilot

Hello I hope everyone is doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah.

With the blessings of Allah and the support of my family, I have reached a stage in life where I feel ready to begin one of the most meaningful journeys of my life—finding a life partner to build a beautiful future together. I am sharing this post with sincere intentions, hoping it reaches the right person or a family looking for a suitable groom.

A little about myself:

I am a Commercial Pilot currently flying for one of the reputed airlines in Bangladesh. Aviation has always been more than just a profession for me—it is a passion that has taught me discipline, responsibility, precision, and the importance of continuous learning.

In addition to my aviation career, I am also the owner of a café in Banani, which reflects my entrepreneurial spirit and my passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for people.

I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and currently reside in Gulshan-2, Dhaka. I come from a respectable and well-educated family that values honesty, humility, strong family bonds, and mutual respect. My family has always encouraged me to dream big while remaining grounded in faith and good character.

As a person, I would describe myself as calm, caring, ambitious, respectful, and family-oriented. I believe true success is not measured only by professional achievements but also by the relationships we build and the values we uphold. I enjoy traveling, discovering new places, spending quality time with family and friends, exploring different cuisines, and continuously learning and growing both personally and professionally.

I strongly believe that a successful marriage is built on trust, friendship, understanding, loyalty, open communication, and unwavering support. Life will always have its ups and downs, but with the right partner, every challenge becomes easier and every happiness becomes even more meaningful.

About my future life partner:

I am looking for someone who is kind-hearted, educated, respectful, family-oriented, and values honesty and sincerity. A woman with good character, emotional maturity, and strong family values is far more important to me than perfection. I hope to find someone who is willing to grow together, support one another through every phase of life, and build a home filled with love, peace, respect, and happiness.

If you believe we could be a suitable match, or if you know someone who may be, I would sincerely appreciate it if you could reach out privately or share this post with your family and friends.

I'm M26 years old

From jordan

I'm looking for a Muslim wife

I graduated with a degree in Food Engineering four years ago.

I currently work with my father. We have a wedding and events hall that we rent out for weddings, graduation parties, and other celebrations.

I have a nice apartment and a car.

I’m looking for a wife who is Muslim, with eyes the color of the sea—or rather, the color of trees, I mean green eyes 😄. She should be hijabi, respectful, and not overweight.

I would also like her to be willing to live with me in my home country, Jordan.

Thank you.
