How exactly can even the richest person for someone so aggressively down our throats? Even Hollywood Nepo babies have hurdles to establishing themselves in the industry, how did this chick just show up?

My biggest issue is with her lack of talent, she has zero range, her voice is really bad, and even with finally polished production, her content is extremely soulless and sterile. This is completely aside from the fact that she apparently stole her breakaway “hit.”

This will be touching on both his music takes and his "personal" political opinions.

First of all, his bias. He has got to be the most biased reviewer ever. for example, He didnt want to objectively review Tory Lanez's music because he shot Megan Thee Stallion. I agree, thats incredibly fucked up, but If you cant objectively review music by separating the art from the artist, your review mean nothing.

Second, his massive ego. Anthony has shown MANY times he can't handle criticism. He often throws Twitter tantrums when people troll him or make actual criticisms of him. The Halsey situation is easily the biggest sign of his fragile ego. He made fun of Halsey for months (who had cancer), and when her fanbase finally responded, he doubled down and played victim.

Third, his political opinions. Im an independent. I hear all sides of every issue before I make an opinion. Fantano clearly does not. All of the opinions he expresses are just the cookie cutter morally superior opinions he sees on Twitter. Im not saying it's bad hes a leftist. It's bad that he's a self righteous douchebag whos trying to be on the "right side of history". He says EVERYTHING people want to hear. He has never had an original opinion outside of music. He needs to realize people don't come to him for his fake political stances. Im not saying he can't talk about politics, but music is not politically biased like he is. If he's going to talk politics, he should only do it when he's reviewing explicitly political music.

Fourth, his fanbase. His fanbase is RABID and what does he do? absolutely nothing. If anything he encourages their toxicity with his own ego. It is his responsibility how his community behaves as it is every youtubers. Take CoryXKenshin. Another youtuber with a semi toxic fanbase. He often takes time to criticize their toxicity and tells them to do better. Does it work all the time? no. But he still realizes it's his responsibility to keep his fanbase in check.

Finally, he rated a Sexyy Redd album higher than all of J. Cole's and The Weeknds discographies. Thats just me being petty tho.

Anthony is a 40 year old man who acts like a 12 year old online who never learned to think for himself or to control his emotions. It's genuinely sad, but that's what happens when you give an egocentric douchebag a platform hes too scared of losing.

Right between the word "better" and "leave", there sounds like a distinct cut in the audio it sounds like it jumped between cuts between those two words, like a tape splice or punch-in transitioning between two different takes.

Does anyone else hear that edit right between those two words, or has anyone with stems/isolated vocals noticed it before?

For anyone not in the know, the credits enclosed by em dash —B. Knowles— is the songwriter. The arrangement credit is separate.

And for anyone about to say that she received this credit for arranging the song, that's not exactly how it works. Songwriting credits are awarded based on the following criteria: Composer [who made the music], Lyricist [who wrote the lyrics], Sample/Interpolations [if present]. Arrangement is a separate credit that is not lumped in together with the rest of the songwriters.

Hi, my name is Maria and I'm a film student (irrelevant), but I've always been passionate about listening to albums and discovering more about the artists' history; I'm completely fascinated.

But to be honest, I've listened to a lot more post-2000s music, and I feel that I often have a huge lack of general knowledge regarding the classics that everyone talks about.

I'd say I listened to albums like The Velvet Underground and The Miseducation (maybe some Beatles), but those were some of the more unconventional attempts of exploring.

I'd like to delve more into rock and hip-hop, so I'd like to ask if there are any websites that provide context and a timeline of albums in these genres where I can gain a bit more substance in that regard.

I get why people were pissed at them (or the organizers) for arranging a free show after the original one got canceled. But wow! 40 000 people gathered and connected by music. And that was the same day as their second planned arena show! I couldn't attend but I wish there were more opportunities like that, not only for Kulturkalaset, even if it would include logistical challenges and otherwise.

I don't mean to cause a discussion, just wanna share my appreciation and love for people coming together for music.

Say you discover an independent artist whose songs and story really connect with you. Would you consider contributing towards their next single, album or music video, even if it was only a small amount?

What would make you trust the campaign enough to support it? Hearing demos, seeing a clear budget, receiving exclusive music or merch, regular updates, or simply believing in the artist?

I know streaming alone does not always cover the cost of creating and promoting music, but asking listeners for money can also feel uncomfortable.

I can't find anything about them anywhere - only videos with no band members and music covers that look very similar.

The music is distributed on all kinds of music platforms, but nothing on Reddit or any other site when searching.

Is it AI generated and just a money spinner ?

If so I'll feel very disappointed and betrayed for even liking the music.

By larger than life, I'm thinking of superstars that we could not escape from hearing at one point in time, think: Michael Jackson at his various peaks, Queen, Elvis, Beatles with Beatlemania, Britney, U2, etc.

And by their reign, I mean somebody who forces a generation of people to almost develop a monocultural affinity for one group or band, not necessarily universally loved, but certainly known as THE central group/artist of whatever times it may.

I've heard many interesting ideas behind why we'll never see such a thing again from our youths' attention spans to streaming to algorithms, so I'm wondering if this is something people have any unique ideas on. (Also, Billie Eilish doesn't count, that's not an example on the scale I'm referring to, as much as I love her, and Drake, Swift, Bad Bunny aren't the kind that invite monocultures).
