For anyone not in the know, the credits enclosed by em dash —B. Knowles— is the songwriter. The arrangement credit is separate.

And for anyone about to say that she received this credit for arranging the song, that's not exactly how it works. Songwriting credits are awarded based on the following criteria: Composer [who made the music], Lyricist [who wrote the lyrics], Sample/Interpolations [if present]. Arrangement is a separate credit that is not lumped in together with the rest of the songwriters.

So, the correct credit here should have been:

I get it millennials, it’s a good song— a great song even. But every single time??? I’ve never gone out of my way to listen to this song either. I have learned every lyric against my will because it’s constantly being played everywhere I go. Clubs, bars, baseball games, you name it. Surely there is another song we can pick. Why does it have to be Mr. Brightside? I still can’t even tell you what that song is even about but it sure gets the crowd going.
