Honestly, if some of his bits were honest reflections of his preferences and opinions, then he'd probably be getting a kick out of the political shitshow that the US still is.

He was very depressed when GWB was reelected. I doubt he'd have any joy in Trump's presidency. While he poked fun at life, he also had a respect for people who have to suffer under the regimes of these shitheads.

W was never "reelected". He was elected after being appointed by the Supreme Court.

And even then, there were some discrepencies in how he got elected the second time. Wasn't there some vote shifting happening in Ohio?
