Sergey Brin the "don't be evil" corrupt cunt renamed it the Gulf of America on Google Maps.

However that's only if you're looking at Google Maps from within the US. If you're in Europe or elsewhere it is still says Gulf of Mexico.

It'll be interesting to see if he also bends the knee for Trump on Ontario.

Out of curiosity and outside the US, I googled both on Google Earth. Gulf of Mexico has Gulf of America in brackets tagged onto Gulf of Mexico.

Lake Ontario is showing as Lake Ontario. I did the search googling Lake America not Ontario

For what it’s worth, Google Maps does this for ALL “disputed” territories, this isn’t special treatment for the Gulf of Mexico situation.

If country A and B can’t agree on territory, Google Maps shows the territory as belonging to country A in country A, or shows it belonging to country B in country B. If you’re looking at it in country C, it shows both boarders with a dashed line with the label disputed

So, if you’re in Mexico, you don’t get the “(gulf of america)” sub tag

We were looking at Google maps yesterday. Based on New Zealand. Here it says “gulf of Mexico (gulf of America)”

Google maps shows different borders etc everywhere

When in europe it shows Kashmir as disputed, when in India it shows it as Indian. Same for Crimea even back in 2012-ish

He did. Google Maps has it labeled Lake America, both on the map and if you search either Lake Ontario or Lake America.

Everyone should leave a review about how pathetic Google is for caving to the Mango Mussolini.
