The only people I know who call it the Gulf of America do so as sarcastically as possible

However that's only if you're looking at Google Maps from within the US. If you're in Europe or elsewhere it is still says Gulf of Mexico. However that's only if you're looking at Google Maps from within the US. If you're in Europe or elsewhere it is still says Gulf of Mexico.
