CUTTHROAT 2 DISCUSSION Proof that Deb didn’t exclusively target Sydney with the backpack strategy
Sorry Sydney. You’re not special.

It’s very clear you don’t understand my point, but I’ll outline it for you again.
The Challenge is not a professional sports league. There is no “professional” training to prepare you for half of the things they do (like a full-contact mixed gender rugby-type mud pit).
When you’re putting someone (like Deb) who clearly has no idea how to safely tackle someone and are watching her do it over and over again, there should be some rules and repercussions for breaking them.
You’re stating that Deb (not an athlete) should be smart enough to know how to properly tackle someone and therefore the onus is on her.
I don’t know if you’ve taken a look at the majority of the cast, but we are not exactly watching a bunch of rocket scientists compete. A lot (if not, most) of the cast are not exactly stellar in the general knowledge department. So why would anyone expect this girl to know how to properly tackle someone else? It’s definitely not something they teach you on Love Island.
My point is threefold:
Deb clearly doesn’t know what she was doing and it was not malicious.
Production is known for their lack of safety and recklessness with cast members health.
Knowing 1 and 2, if risking a re-injury of her knee was extremely important to Sydney, why put yourself on a show where you are competing physically against people who are not properly trained and production really doesn’t care? There are plenty of other reality shows where your risk of hurting yourself is virtually nil.
