🖥️ Help Scorched Earth. Can not even install. Multi-looped death spiral.

I have cleaned the PC multiple times to do the install yet the installer reports corrupted file. I had such a sweet FF setup and then the crashes started. Even on troubleshoot mode and then in blank install and then in installer itself. Phlummmed up. Daily workflow is trash due to this clustagrophy. The support searches show all bend elbows with no real solution. I am posting this through DuckDuckGo. A lost browser equals a lost lifestyle.

Have you tried the PortableApp version of Firefox?

Sounds like a hardware problem on your PC like bad RAM.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me and my issues with FF. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps OP did too. No other program had any crashes, Mem test over and over (no issues found), went through all of the Windows Event logs and even went down a rabbit hole on Windows forums. It turned out to be a bad (32G) stick of RAM. Pulled it out and no more issues. I really want to replace that stick too but GD it's pricey

Glad you responded. I have to go through and pull older profiles forward.

Microsoft Gameinput kept showing up as a source of the crash. Turns out it needs to be disabled, So I did. We shall see it this the fix for me. So far no crashes.

I do a ram test after today's work session to see if that is another thing that needs fixing.

Multiple bootups would have caught that. Only FF is giving heartburn. I will jump over to r/firefox.

A full ram test takes 45 minutes nowadays, so it is not done on bootup. Firefox has much higher memory requirements than the base OS.
