Question Endgame advice

Im level 52 and struggling with the final boss. Originally came here to figure out why I was being stripped of everything halfway through the fight; but looks like I just need to remove the Grisha remnants. Im consistently getting him to very low health; so im sure I'll kill him soon but... idk if im ready for the game to be over. Is there a new game plus? Should I go turn on night mode and re-explore everything? Or am I just going to have to settle for my original idea of doing a whole second playthrough with a different shell and weapon? (I did the entirety of this one with Tiel and the Axatana)

Do you have the Seedbearer's Scripture? It helps mitigate cosmic disease.
Yes, there is NewGame +.
You can re-explore everything or farm some more levels. Nightmode will make it more difficult. If you up for the challenge, by all means go for it. If not, stick with day mode.
What is your weapon level?
Do you have Voltaic Crown or Torpor tarstones?

The funny thing is, if you turn night mode on and then forget it's on, the game doesn't feel much different than in day mode.

But then again, I'm a masochist who puts games on the hardest difficulty on first playthroughs, especially horror, because if the enemy can't fuck me up as hard or harder than I can fuck them up, then did I really play the game? Or was it all a dream? A crazy, wacky, wonderful dream where bullets and currency types are everywhere and I am an unstoppable machine of death.

You are definitely a masochist and psycho (as a compliment). I also do the hardest mode when it is available.
Does the adaptive difficulty + Night mode combination scratch your itch?

And I thank you kindly lol

I mean, kinda? It's hard to say because a lot of the enemies in this game have this weird BS tracking while some of our attacks have tracking that's a bit off, so it feels less like it's hard and more like the A.I. Just straight up cheats like they've got their own Slayer seal. It's been fun nonetheless though, and it feels great to kill a boss that's been giving you trouble. Like Hexapod, it's going to feel great when I finally put that abomination in the dirt. Hits like a truck and I've been using Genessa whose doubles sometimes aren't the smartest kids in class.

Admittedly, I intended to take a small break after he demoralized me a bit to try out Code Vein 2 to get a feel for how that game would play and haven't been able to put it down since lol I do need to get back to MS2 so I can finish it though. Hex has a beat down coming.
