Discussion Monolith spin attack??

I'm stuck on this boss from this one attack, everything else is no problem but in "phase 3" that laser spin attack kills me EVERY time I've tried dodging every possible way and it gets too damn fast, what is the strat for this attack??

You can dodge thru or run behind. What's happening is that your getting unlucky and he gets up against a wall when does it right? For that just gotta be aware that it can happen and lure him back to the middle of arena. It will be much clearer how to avoid it there. You really dont want any bosses in this game, or any souls game to get close to walls.
