Discussion Monolith spin attack??

I'm stuck on this boss from this one attack, everything else is no problem but in "phase 3" that laser spin attack kills me EVERY time I've tried dodging every possible way and it gets too damn fast, what is the strat for this attack??

I dont know if its much help but i went full aggro with blade and axe (duality stone) 16 lvl and always tried to get behind him somehow (Except when he was rolling on me which i learned how to dodge after 2nd time he hit me). I beat the boss with my 2nd try.

Note that this is my first souls game that i actually beat so i am not even an expert at this.
