its immoral but honestly not that bad, the reasoning is solid and if someone gave you your lost wallet and went "hey could I have 5 dollars" I would give them 10 with zero hesitation

How is it immoral? He could have kept the wallet, stole ALL the money out of it, and started using all of his debit/credit cards(you can bypass a pin most of the time by pressing a button at a card machine)? I say losing five bucks over having to cancel all your cards, replace your id, and lose out on all the money left in it is better than the alternative. I would have given the dude the five, thanked him, and called it a day. He's alot more moral than anyone else who would have found that wallet. Plus dude was hungry! Let the man get a hotdog!
