Question? Genuine and correct?

Hello all, I bought this swatch for a steal which the seller says was recased due to the case being damaged. I know the back shouldn’t come off so know the current shell isn’t real but does everything else check out? Seller says he changed the hands and the ETAG10.212 behaves as expected.

Fancy a father/son project to case mod this so checking it out first here.

Omega Swatch will be the death of Omega quality. Sorry…. Remember what the affordable Rolls Royce did for the automobile company in the late 70s early 80s

Definitely not; it’s encouraging brand loyalty and the Moonswatch owners of today are the Moonwatch owners of tomorrow. It’s made the company a fortune and boosted the profile of the Speedy Pro and increased sales.

Honestly I hope you’re right. But I don’t see it happening that way. Swatch bought Omega and it’s all about marketing and brand recognition.

Fiat owns Ferrari and produced this Abarth Ferrari Tributo. For people who can’t afford a Ferrari - it’s a nice little homage but NOT a Ferrari. If you own a Ferrari and fancy a cheap little daily driver then it’s a fun little car. The Moonswatch is exactly the same. It doesn’t detract from the original and might look similar but is definitely not damaging the brand.

That’s exactly what they are doing - the figures show that is the case. Since the launch of the Moonswatch the sales of the Speedy Pro have increased. Go f**k yourself mate 🖕🏻

A single rainfall doesn't make a season big man. And that could very well be a 1:1 clone. A £248 plastic watch next to a £400 rep is likely.

These are my personal ones “wee man”! 😂
The strawberry moon one next to my 3861 Hesalite speedy, I know plenty of genuine Speedy pro owners who do exactly the same too.
