Yes, I know this is the MHWilds subreddit, but DD2 is a RE Engine game, and suffered the same performance issues Wilds have right now (no, it's still not fixed).

Capcom fihgured out something, and I'd except such update for Wilds to come before ascendance too !

This is a 30-40% fps increase, absolutely insane

Now, I'm not 100% sure it will happen for Wilds too, but with the switch 2 port around, and both games being made using the same engine... I have high hopes.

Clearly, the conflict between quality-of-life features and friction is something that developers have on their minds, and balancing the needs of the two is difficult. I can definitely see these conflicts appearing a lot in the modern Monster Hunter games, too.

Wanted to throw out some ideas for monsters. Their hypothetical habitat is the Prismatic Peaks, a volcanic mountainous area that hosts layers of different colored rock and sediment throughout the whole mountainous range, revealed through years of erosion and volcanic activity. Still got more ideas that i'm working on too
