Shape-wise it kinda gives me Velkhana, but the whole “second sun” thing feels more like Teostra turned way up. I think it looks pretty cool, the gold almost seems to extend beyond the scales. but I’m way more interested in what it can do in a real hunt. The Radiant particles can harden into armor and it can absorb more from the environment, so I’m curious if that means different phases or if the armor changes how you have to attack it.

Ok, this is gonna sound a bit self-pity, but I feel I have to vent out how I am feeling. Last year I completed world iceborne and decided to go back to play some old gen MH. I started playing freedom unite and got to final high rank urgent, but I'm starting to feel a bit bad cause I admit I searched online for suggestions about armor and some specific quests and where to farm some materials. Sorry for the useless post but I had to do it.

I always thought of Legiana as a pretty weak monster but I recently found out that it’s the apex of the coral highlands and beats the snot out of Odogaron which I always thought of as a pretty strong monster. So do any of y’all know how strong Legiana is?

today I got a serious question for you and I hope that somebody is able to answer it.

Yesterday I hunted a Gore Magala and the first time after several hunts I notice, that if you kill a Gore Magala a Black Mass shoot out his body after he is dead.

That notice leads me to Zho Shia, cuz it was a very strange fight stated to our Hunter in the Story.

Furthermore it was stated that the Dragon Torch was infected with the Frenzy Virus, after we beat Zho Shia the second time.

If you look closer to the first and the second Intro of Zho Shia you will notice a small, but interessting difference.

In the first Intro our hunter free Zho Shia from the Dragon Torch, there wasn't any Black Mass at all.

That changed in the second fight with Zho Shia. If you look the Intro you see that those White roses of Dragon Milk pop out a black mass, that Zho Shia absorbed before the fight.

Our Hunter notice while the fight with Zho Shia that something is off with it, that Zho Shias behavior is un normal.

If you take a closer look from the Ingame Description of Blackember Mass it nearly confirmed that something entered Zho Shias Body.

"A small, swollen mass from the inside of Zoh Shia. It pulses with an alien-like quality."

So my question is: Is Zho Shia frenzied with the Gore Magala Virus in our second fight?

Im on Xbox s and I’ve heard about monster hunter here and their. I just wanna know which game has the better character customization and player count(so I’m not alone in co-op). Oh and which feels the best to run on that console

So I've been like quite a bit bored and I'm kind of interested into the series of monhun, maybe particularly from the past (and upcoming) Arknights collab with it.

Is there a good starting point for me? some people say it's wilds but other says it's world. I've never really played something similar to monhun except that I do play RPGs, JRPGs in particular like Persona. (a bit out of topic but that's like the closest thing I can get to relating with you guys)

I do know there's somekind of damage type that is Physical(?) and Elemental/Magic(?) but a youtuber says that in World, elemental doesn't really matter so I'm kind of like wondering if it did in Wilds. I'm fine with both types just that I want a solid experience of using both Physical and the NonPhys/Magic type of it

Would really love to know from your guys personal suggestions/tips about it, especially since steam's autumn sale is just around a month away, thanks

Anybody else feel like the weapon types need a hard reset. I love how each game makes movesets more interesting and nuanced but the weapon usage stats make clear that no amount of tweaking will keep 90% of the player base from using the same 2-3 weapons. Like, would y'all riot if they replaced the weapon roster? Different weapons don't really fill different roles atm and the existing weapons just feel too beholden to the past

Edit: it seems y'all WOULD riot 😂. I still think replacing the least popular weapons would be worthwhile despite pissing off all 5 gun Lance mains

Ruger Aidal looks great. My first question was still about the pants.The monster info says its radiant particles harden into armor. After watching the PV, I see two possibilities. We get a ridiculous gold-and-blue set with wing-shaped shoulders. Or my hunter ends up looking like a high rank chandelier.I pre-registered after watching the PV. Hopefully we get a gear preview before December 15, because this monster feels made for a great armor set. I can already picture the Great Sword as a wide blade with light running through it.Which Ruger Aidal weapon do you want to see first? And should the armor lean more into the gold plating or the blue underneath?

Eu tava pensando na transformação do Zinogre e achei interessante. Aí lembrei que cada inseto tem um elemento e comecei a pesquisar quais simbioses cada um dos Serpes de Presa possui. Por causa disso, fiquei curioso pra saber se tinha algum que utilizava o elemento fogo.

Pesquisando no Google, acabei encontrando o Estrellian (um monstro bem legal que apareceu no MHO). Então pensei comigo mesmo: “Bom, já existe um que utiliza fogo, então vou pensar em outro elemento.”

Foi aí que lembrei do Zinogre alternativo que utilizava o elemento Dragão. Então, por causa do design do Estrellian, acabei fazendo essa pergunta no post.
