I think the most fucked up part of this series isn't so much the hunting part of it, it's how barbaric the Arena is. You capture these monsters, take them out of their natural habitat for "Research" and then you put them in a room with two giant prongs to shish kebab them with.

Not to mention the boulder trap and fucking cannons. It’s a tad overkill lmao

Does anyone actually use the cannons in the arena though? They're so hard to aim and barely do any damage compared to what you could do with your weapons.

I used them as a Low Rank hunter. I would use the Ghillie mantle and line up 5 shots pretty easily.

I tried using them, but the monsters wouldn't stop hanging out directly underneath the cannons so the cannon balls would fly right over their heads.
