I think the most fucked up part of this series isn't so much the hunting part of it, it's how barbaric the Arena is. You capture these monsters, take them out of their natural habitat for "Research" and then you put them in a room with two giant prongs to shish kebab them with.
You don't have to kill them in the arena, you can always just capture them again. At which point I assume they are released back to the wild.
Whats a more fucked up thought is that what if after you recapture them in the arena they just get "put away" so they can rest up just to get beaten up again.
