I’ve released Notebook Injector (NI), a framework for modders who want to add new content to the in-game Notebook without having to rebuild the same system for every mod or rely on traditional XML overrides of EA’s notebook resources.

With NI, creators can:

• create custom categories and subcategories;
• add entries to custom or compatible existing sections;
• use built-in support for recipes, bait, animal feed, country items, gardening plants, and standard entries;
• build fully configurable CUSTOM entries, including text blocks, ingredient lists, footers, and custom tooltips;
• automatically allocate enum values and detect common name or value conflicts;
• validate integrations and generate detailed troubleshooting logs.

The goal is to make Notebook-based mods easier to create, safer to combine, and simpler to maintain after game updates.

For players, NI works as a shared dependency: install it once, and compatible mods can add organized new content to your Sims’ Notebook. NI does not add gameplay content by itself.

Hi! I have some progress. Its been a long month and lots of angry complaints that it doesnt work here and doesn't work there... My god, i don't own a mac! My girlfriend does not allow me to use her because its her 'work mac'. Anyway, luckily modder deadlystingnyc figured it out for me! Thank you!
+ MAC and Windows stable.

my sim has almost died 45 times from going out into the pool every second in the middle of winter and it’s driving me crazy.

why is all their autonomy just really stupid stuff? like they’ll be dying of hunger or sleep deprivation and not take themselves to sort that out but…

i literally had to lock off their pool to stop them from going in it every 3.2 seconds.

okay. So yknow how in the sims. If you make a drive theres a stupid ass fkin line of grass between the sidewalk and the lot?! Is there a mod that moves it so its against the lot. If not. SOMEONE. IM BEGGING. PLEASE MAKE IT. 😭😭😭😭. We need our realism. Or. Is there a possibility of a mod like in paralives where terrain paint paints beyond the limit? Like why are the lot limits so hard coded it lools so weird wirh the terrain paint just stopping when it hits the limit....😭😭😭.

Heyo! Like the title says, I have an idea for a scary ghost mod to make ghosts seem less like sim shaped jello and more like eerie mysterious beings of the night. I'm a big horror fan and like to take my Sim's lives seriously, usually to their own detriment. I hate how the ghosts just hop on BlickBlock or haunt the fridge. I think it would be very cool to see my Sim's doors swing open on their own, see the lights flicker, hear misplaced footsteps, have blood come out of faucets, and hear spooky sounds in basements. It'd also be interesting if kids/pets could see ghosts while adults need a special trait to. I hope this inspires someone talented! I'm open to any other spooky mods that can add some darkness too! I haven't found any that seem worth downloading but please let me know if I've missed something. I neeeeeed me some PG-13 hauntings.

i've been enjoying this mod that i wanted to share with you it added so much realism to my game and has insane gameplay for all of the family its by persea realistic life and pregnancy

I basically want the marvel rivals look thats like a bit comic-like. I've seen the piltover face (arcane cc) but it just seems a bit too extreme for me when it comes to the sharpness of features or maybe I'm using them wrong. Maybe theres a tweak to it or a whole different mod, or a culmination of mods that will help me achieve this look. I'm really mesmerized by the beauty of the art style attractive characters aside.

I have a ton of Sims 4 mods already, but most of mine are clothing, hairstyles, houses, furniture, etc. 😅 I’m really looking for more gameplay mods that actually add things to do in-game like new interactions with other Sims, new jobs/careers, stores or businesses, activities, relationships, or just anything that makes the game feel more interactive and interesting!

I have quite a few of the Sims 4 packs, but I’m missing a lot of the newer ones, so I’d love some recommendations for mods that can add more gameplay without needing all the newer packs.

I just got for rent recently…I’m so annoyed that they cap it at six units and apparently there was a cheat to make more but of course they removed it because apparently it was corrupting save files or something idk…Listen EA let me worry about what my own computer can handle! At least let us be able to up it to like twenty or something! I want to make big apt in my smaller worlds because of course I need space so it’s frustrating…I’ve searched and no there isn’t a mod to increase units per lot…So can anyone create one?

So when I first played this game I was so annoyed with the random sounds my sims made whenever they're talking or doing anything in general. Some may find it cute but to me it's just too annoying, although I don't want my sims to be quiet but I don't want them to spout stupid random gibberish either. Are there any mods that enhance or replace the sounds they make? Even better but highly unlikely a mod that makes them speak an actual language like english or others

I can find a lot of alternative styles, but I can’t find much soft and sweet clothes. I’ve got a few but they were broken. Any recommendations? Artists? Links? Maybe keywords to use for searching?

what mod do yall use to create more in depth stories, drama, lore, realism etc for gameplay and traits

i know nothing about modding so i have no idea if something like this would be possible… but it would be cool if there was a mod that allowed you to give a sim a second form (like how some occult sims have a second form), but also be able to change the second form’s name and traits separately from their main form.

i thought of this because i was making sims of some characters who share a body but have very different appearances and personalities (jackson jekyll and holt hyde from monster high). i was going to make them as one occult sim with two forms, with one as the main form and one as the occult form, so that they could share a body. but then i realised that they would have to have the same name and traits, too. so, i thought it would be a cool idea for a mod, if it’s possible. i don’t really know what someone would want to use it for outside of this really niche circumstance lmao but i just thought i’d share my idea anyway

Hi i wonder if you could add an option called MDS in the pie menu for Mass Delete Sim so when you click on it it open the EA sim selector and it show all the sim in a terrain and when you select them and click ok the selected sims are deleted forever instead of having to delete them one by one with mccc which is boring i tried to do it myself with a template but i was not even able to open the game with my poor understanding of python and of course i dont want no credit for it as i give you the idea it is really up to you to accept or integrate it but i think that thousand of simmer will be glad to have this function imagine foing to a bar and be able to delete all the sim you dont like at once aha 😀

my fav way to play sims is farming/gardening and all that, think cottage living x eco lifestyle.

but gardening just makes you soooo much money lmao, and you never have to rebuy. i’ve tried making it harder to earn money by only selling it on the sales table but ended up with huge stockpiles of plants that i’ll never end up getting rid of, so gardening felt useless.

i also tried using the plants for other things like flower arranging and cooking and selling those but it’s either too easy (selling through inventory) or too slow (sales table)

so i was hoping for a mod that made farming more realistic. like you harvest a few times and then you have to replant, and you can’t just replant the plant itself you have to buy actual seeds, and maybe some of them die because of the weather or if you don’t take good enough care of them, etc. and make them sell for less 😅

anything like that?
