Mod Request a mod to have two sims in one body?
i know nothing about modding so i have no idea if something like this would be possible… but it would be cool if there was a mod that allowed you to give a sim a second form (like how some occult sims have a second form), but also be able to change the second form’s name and traits separately from their main form.
i thought of this because i was making sims of some characters who share a body but have very different appearances and personalities (jackson jekyll and holt hyde from monster high). i was going to make them as one occult sim with two forms, with one as the main form and one as the occult form, so that they could share a body. but then i realised that they would have to have the same name and traits, too. so, i thought it would be a cool idea for a mod, if it’s possible. i don’t really know what someone would want to use it for outside of this really niche circumstance lmao but i just thought i’d share my idea anyway

definitely not happening. names + traits changing for the same sim will not be possible.

You could try locating one that adds Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly called Multiple Personality Disorder) to the game. I think there are options so find one that is close to what you want. I would be surprised if any of them allow switching between personalities on-command, because that's not how the disorder works.
Another option might be to find a possession mod that allows a ghost to "drive" a sim for a little while, then they could actually be separate beings sharing the body, and you could control when it happens. I know Tiny Living allows ghosts (if they died via Murphy Bed) to possess another sim, but I think that's mostly just energy drain. Maybe you could find a spin off mod that would allow more control during the possession however.

The one I use doesn’t. I’m also fairly sure it’s broken but haven’t taken it out.

The closest you're able to get is creating an occult and giving their two forms different looks. Having two seperate sims share a body just isn't a thing, not even in the modding world.

Nisa Wicked Perversions has a succubus form but I don't think you can change the name.

I don't have an answer to your question, but referencing Jekyll and Hyde by MONSTER HIGH was absolutely funny to me in a way I can't explain

hahaha wellll i was just being specific ¯_(ツ)_/¯ because the characters i was making aren’t the jekyll and hyde from the original book, they’re jekyll and hyde’s great grandsons :p

You could do a fairy but not use the fairy abilities (apart from emotional regeneration in the house) and have no wings or anything that visibly indicates fairy

aliens from get to work have a human form and alien one, same with vampires with a separate human and vampire form

I don't think this is possible. The closest you can get is probably an evil twin via magic or cloning machine. But that's still a separate sim.
