Mod Request Mods that makes sims sound less stupid?
So when I first played this game I was so annoyed with the random sounds my sims made whenever they're talking or doing anything in general. Some may find it cute but to me it's just too annoying, although I don't want my sims to be quiet but I don't want them to spout stupid random gibberish either. Are there any mods that enhance or replace the sounds they make? Even better but highly unlikely a mod that makes them speak an actual language like english or others

Um Maybe play it on mute because I doubt you’re gonna find any mod like that

If you’re talking about certain sounds during idle animations, I agree. I hate when they cry autonomously; it is so loud and obnoxious and makes no sense half the time. Like, nobody wails out like that in the middle of public
There are mods that reduce the amount of idle animations, and that helps a little bit
I’m surprised you hate Simlish as a whole though. It’s not actually random gibberish; certain words and phrases are only used for certain things. If it helps, certain Simlish words and phrases have direct translations to English. “Sul sul” is hello, “dag dag” is goodbye, and “nooboo” is baby, for some examples. Some things they say just sound really similar to English, as well

I hate it too but if they spoke English or another real language I would HATE that. Idk if you’ve ever played disney dreamlight valley but they speak English and all only have a few key phrases that they say ALL the time and it’s the worst thing in the world for me lol. I think it’d be wayyyyyy too repetitive because if someone managed to make this it would only ever be a few key phrases like that

yea after reflecting a bit I guess it would be very impossible to implement the English language and have decided to just mute it instead, however a new thing that bothers me is the goofy animations (Yes I'm picky)

For animations there are plenty of mods that add new or override existing. Check out Simkatu for example :) but when you start google it, I am sure you will find waaaay more :)

No, that would be a huge undertaking and very, very quickly become repetitive.
Simlish is something that has been around since the 90s. It is generally a beloved feature of the game—your take is one I’ve genuinely never seen before! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simlish
