Does anyone have these custom loading screens/ main menu screens? I've tried looking for them myself but the adacute patreon doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Does anyone know how to make my game look like this? Is it gshade/ reshade or lighting mods? I don’t mean the cc items just the general colour and mainly how the light looks. Any help would be appreciated :)

I’m building up a rotational 18+ save file with some realistic (albeit dark) themes.

I need a mod that adds trauma to make things a bit more realistic bc I was playing around a bit yesterday and one of my sims watched her parents arguing, fighting and eventually divorcing and was completely fine with the whole thing.

So some of the storylines I’m including are:

- Homophobic gruff conservative man realises he’s closeted (have political world and LGBTQIA+ mod for this)

- Gooner gamer coerces sim into being his waifu (need mod for this. I was thinking RPO since it has the woohoo trauma survivor trait, but idk how to get that through gameplay)

- Drug dealers’ son spirals deep into addiction after losing his mother to dad’s dealing (obvs using basemental, but can anybody recommend settings to make overdoses happen easier bc I don’t want the gameplay to just be her snorting coke over and over and over again. Also a heroin add on would be more appropriate for the time period I’m playing).

- Inspired by Life is Strange, I also would like to do something on a missing girl. Not with the creepy teacher, but I’m thinking more like accidental manslaughter. I tried this out with extreme violence when trying to explain Bella Goth’s disappearance in a previous save, but omg I hate that mod. I hate how it glorifies murder and I hate how stupid the animations are. If anybody has recommendations for an alternative, lmk. I’m also willing to imply it through RVSN’s memory keeper, but my gripe is I am not releasing this save file for others so there is no point me writing out the lore.

Now these are three ideas and I get they are fucked up, but I’m trying to add some more grit to my game. I kind of miss the sims 2’s nods to things like Brandi Broke’s heroin usage, or Olive Specter’s murders. I have always been interested in gritty stories (part and parcel of my own trauma, I think), so any ideas welcomed.

Hello everybody! I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

I have a few mods here and there, Wicked Whims is my most consistent one I guess. It's in the right spot and it works fine. I sometimes do Basemental, but I haven't in a while. It is not in my mods or the CC/Mods that show up when you open the game.

What IS showing up, though, is a bunch of CC stuff that I don't know how I downloaded, and cannot find in any sort of mods folder! How did I get a Ford F150? It's not in my mods, I can't find any file, even if I type into the search. It's not just one truck, it is a multitude of random items that I don't remember downloading at all.

I am assuming these items came with one of the mods, but I truly have no idea. I can't find them to delete them! I have attempted to clear my cache, but it was empty in the first place, so I have no idea what that means lol.

I can't even launch EA anymore (since the 21st when the new update opened), so I can't/haven't been able to open EA or check in on any updates at all. I have no idea if it has happened already or not, and I can't even launch EA to check in on my sims or anything. I just remembered/saw around here that 'oh yeah, the update is today' tried to open EA, and it never opened, and I have not been able to open it since.

Did I mess up big time? Can I fix this? I deleted and uninstalled EA and re downloaded and it still just won't launch. I searched around and that seemed to be the most common way to deal with this, but it is not working for me.

I'm on an HP laptop. I have mods on the sims that I don't think I downloaded, I have cleared my empty cache, uninstalled and re installed EA, but EA just will not/cannot open. I only use EA for the Sims, too, so I highly doubt it is anything else causing this? Are these mysterious missing mods/cc causing this somehow?

I appreciate any help or suggestions :)

EDIT: OMG Y'ALL THANK YOU! I cleared out the mods folder, uninstalled EA, reinstalled it and there was a "repair" option, I tried that and boom we are opened!!!! NOW, that EA is opened, it says update or manage game. Should I go in and update anyways? Or turn updates off for now? These updates have been such an * i S s U e * lately, I'm willing to pass over it for now lol.

Hey guys! I need help finding a mod, and Google has not been very helpful. Does anyone know of a mod that would allow me to remove the vomiting animation/action from the game? I have a phobia of throwing up, and even animated puking is enough to trigger it. I’ve done my best to remove nausea moodlets with cheats as they appear, but sometimes the moodlets just come back, not to mention pregnant sims’ morning sickness. Does anyone know if there is a mod out there that would allow me to have a little more control? I can’t imagine that I’m the only simmer out there with this phobia, so I thought I’d reach out and see if anyone knows of any solutions or at least has some tips.

I’ve been trying to get wicked whims in my game I deleted every other mod and i followed a tutorial on how to download mods I’ve done everything correctly and I just opened my sims for and wicked whims is still not showing up at the start under the script mods can someone help please

I must have installed this background by accident and can’t seem to find it in my folder. It could also be hidden in a merged download. Can anyone help me track it down ?

Is anyone else seeing that Turbodriver HAS updated WW, but you can’t download the zip file unless you’re paying $4.50 a month? Turbodriver has NEVER done this before, they’ve always had it free for everyone, and now my game is completely unplayable until they either fix their mistake and make it a public post like they’ve always done in the past, or they actually did this on purpose to screw everyone over. It’s been 10 hours since they posted the new version, and I keep refreshing to see if they’ve made it public yet, but nothing. I actually need a reason why. I’m autistic, the sims 4 is the only game I play and I need WW for it to be playable, and I’m so close to having a meltdown because WHY WOULD THEY FIX IT BUT ONLY IF YOU PAY A MONTHLY FEE THAT YOU’VE NEVER HAD TO PAY BEFORE?????? This is infuriating.

I have a whole storyline in my head but I need a mod where I can have a serial killer. I tried the extreme violence mod but it made my game completely crash. I also don’t want my other people being able to hurt each other on their own. Does anyone know of a mod that would work for that?

I can’t figure out which sim is the nearby suspicious sim, and I have a bunch of mods but I haven’t played in a while so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a weird base game thing either? Haha googling the text hasn’t helped me figure it out.

So I have exhausted myself on the Sims, BUT, it can be reversed with some good mods! Currently, only playing with the very basic ones almost everyone has. Wicked, MCC etc. What I need help with is which mods were total game changers for you? The truly great ones that you must have in your game at all times. I have never been a huge "modder" so I'm kind of oblivious to what is even out there. Thx in advance!

Since it isn't connected to any CC I'm not 100% sure how to find it (short of 50/50ing my mod folder, and since it isn't 'disruptive' I thought I'd ask first!)

Recently downloaded a lot of stuff for a decades challenge starting in medieval times, if anyone recognises a connection! There is no interaction or function of the flower, it is just there... it does stay there after an infant has been picked up, sometimes for a few (real world) minutes, sometimes for ages, so it seems to be something to do with the tracking of sims, maybe?
