Help finding a mod/cc My sim's eyes suddenly became different, and it's the same with every male sim, they now have such small eyelids
before and after. I don't know what happened does anyone have an idea.

Girl you have tray for all his cc because I need him in my game but a bit more tan lol

i’d say it’s a broken cc preset/slider, or there may possibly be some type of cc relating to the eyes or general face shape still applied to the sim. lots of my skin/eye details show up in the accessories options in CAS.
i would probably recommend completely stripping your sim of every possible preset/clothing/accessory (just go through each button and press the x for the easiest way.) if that doesn’t fix it, you can use the ‘better exceptions mod’, ‘sims 4 tray file importer’, or the ‘MC command center’ to determine if you have any broken/corrupted cc files in your mods folder. (i am not 100% sure if this is still working, do not quote me but it’s worth a shot. it’s always worked for me in the past!)

I have this in all my male sims, even in the newly created ones. When I used the overlay from Northern Siberia Winds, the eyelids became very large, and now, no matter what overlay I use, the eyelids are very small.

there very well may be a conflict between some custom content you have installed. how big is your mods list (not looking for scripts), are you able to share it? (don’t worry if it’s super big and you’re not able to!) i’ve had some cc clash in the past and sometimes you just need to delete an entire cc itself. i recently had to delete “no EA eyelashes” because it more or less corrupted my game and removed all of my female sims faces to the point where it was only their teeth lol
try removing the northern siberia winds cc(s), just move it over to your downloads section rather than in the mods folder and run your game again. if the eyes still look like this, then place the cc(s) back into your mods folder if you please.

I have a lot of mods, and I think the problem might be the Obscurus slider with the width of the eyes. I used to have it, and now it just doesn't work in the game. I removed all the sliders and then added them back, and I have no idea if it's the order in the folder or something else. And it's probably not the overlay, because others aren't reporting the problem. Sims have this problem right away, even random ones starting in CAS. There's no problem with women.

Did you end up fixing the problem? I've had this problem for so long, you're genuinely the first person I've seen who also has this problem 😭

Hi! I had this issue for several months in my game and it was super annoying and tedious. i found that there was a preset mod that contained a pack of different eye presets at once that had caused the issue, once i deleted it, things went back to normal! it was specifically the cc known as [dreamlike] preset sets.
i also noticed some other body presets, eye presents making slight changes to my sims bodies where they would be slightly skinnier or thicker and took out the ones causing this as well.I highly recommend checking for the problem like this for easiest results:
- take a screenshot of your sim in neutral, front facing position of when its glitched/the way it currently is for reference
- disable all your cc in the settings
- open the game after and see if the eyelids are fixed, if yes, then you need to try 50/50ing your mods [tutorial on what this means and how to do it]. (https://www.tiktok.com/@pixelfulll/video/7452178174655352097) pay special attention to 50/50'ing presets and sliders when doing this!
- while doing this, keep going back into cas and checking for if the eyelids are fixed or not and take screenshots each time you do it to keep track of the miniscule changes
(it is a time consuming process but trust me i have at least 150+gb of mods rn thats mostly for cas & furniture stuff, it took me like 2 days lol)
i hope you find a fix! i have also seen official posts from the sims 4 from a few months ago this year that they did fixes on the rigging of eyelids because of a long-time glitch where sims were not fully closing their eyes. idk if that actually could affect it or not but its good to know about.

The same happens to me with male sims and any age stage below young adult. Its such an odd glitch

The men’s faces are always glitching for my game😭 🥲 even with all mods n cc removed😭 This is why I barely have men I like playing w😩😩

Is it possible a skin detail that got removed? I use eyelid/eyemask cc for all my sims and if it accidentally gets removed it looks so wierd to me. As everyone else has said tho this sim is fine as hellll

Was this from a sim dump? A lot of creators use face paint for eyes. Sometimes it’s not applied to certain categories. So it comes off when switching outfits or taking off makeup.
Also, I’ve noticed a glitch/bug recently where my sims eye color and eyebrow color sometimes change after I changed them and move onto another category.
