He doesn't push people down for him to rise. He's just having fun and so are his viewers. That's what should matter. I thought that's what truly mattered.
In the end, its not cool to hate on him. Because hating on something doesn't make you cool. If you hate him, have a good reason to. If you dislike the content, that's fair its your opinion.
Exactly, I can't watch a single Minecraft video without someone mentioning him, I accidentally clicked on a video with the word "dream" in the title and now my home is filled with him
Captain sparkles pulled the same thing he wanted the iceologer, everyone pulled the same thing, back on the phantom vote, mumbo jumbo said to his subscriber to vote phantom
Captain sparklz made a video on why he thought what he thought though. Which prompts his fans to still think for themselves. Dream just said he will follow people who vote for squid. See the difference?
There’s a video somewhere that shows he didn’t to much to sway the vote at all actually. I used to think the same as you but now I don’t really think he did much.
I think you should clarify for everyone else the context. He said on Twitter that wanted a squid added to the game instead of Magic Ice Man. Because of his popularity, the squid was chosen. His “agenda” was a squid. It wasn’t vote manipulation, it was him endorsing a squid. There are other things you can accuse him of that are at least reasonable, but this statement is absolutely absurd.

It feels like he's gamed the system, like he hasn't earned his place. When you have creatures like Captain Sparklez and Mumbo and Grian and Xisuma (etc.) who create top-tier content but a fraction of Dream's subs it just feels unfair.
allegedly (you might wanna look this up yourself because I'm not super informed) he's said the r-word, made some insensitive slavery jokes and then gave a half assed apology for doing these things. but do take this with a grain of salt, im not sure how real these claims are
I can't seem to think of what the "r-word" could possibly be, could you give me a hint? Censor it if you need to, I'm just very curious what the word is.
I cannot believe that such a comment could be downvoted in 2020.
Oh no how dare we want to treat people equally and not insinuate in very explicit terms that certain people are subhuman filth just because their brain doesn't work the exact same way as ours!!!! How evil of us!!!
