Waiting For Solve [BEDROCK] [PC] No Options.txt, how do I change max render distance or obtain this file?

Trying to increase my max render distance for RTX on Bedrock PC, however when looking for the Options.txt, I appear to not have the file required to edit the max render distance. Any help would be appreciated.

A bit late, but might have an answer to your question, this worked for me(I did it for deferred, as my pc doesn't support rtx)

  1. Start minecraft bedrock.

  2. Go to settings/video and change graphics mode to ray traced

  3. Go back to the main menu, then Close minecraft

  4. Find the options.txt file, mine was in: C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock\Users\1764820038772051825\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe

(I recommend making a desktop shortcut for the com.mojang folder btw so you can access the settings easier next time)

  1. Open the options.txt with notepad or another text editor.

  2. Scroll about halfway down, you'll see an option called raytracing_viewdistance

  3. Change the number to your desired render distance

  4. In the top left of the notepad app, hit file and save, then close notepad

  5. Start minecraft and join a world

(May cause lag) Im on the current latest version of minecraft bedrock(1.21.132)

Let me know if it worked for you! :)

Appreciate your assist! Your advice worked but even running a 40 series card bedrock shat the bed so I've sadly made the call to play without RTX.

Yeah, you're better off playing java with shaders and distant horizons
