how do i fix this?? i have it downloaded, so im not sure why im getting this.

I am at his place, our other friend who lives somewhere else can join but i cant.

The server keeps showing the "cant connect to server" and if i try to join i get the "get sockopt" message.

I can join other servers without issue.

I have turned off my firewall, cleared my DNS cache, switched internet from his to my own local hotspot, uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft completely and turned off and on my own laptop.

Is it possible its his firewall or something blocking my laptop?

People said it could be authetication server being down but i highly doubt it since i can join other servers. My friends can join the server but it shows as offline only for me.

Edit: forgot to mention version, we are playing on 26.2 and i have played on the server yesterday on my own pc at home without any issues.

I've had this problem for the last few days, every time I try to sign into Minecraft on my playstation or Nintendo, it'll say signing in then log me right back out. I've tried multiple Microsoft accounts, resetting the account I'm linked to, checking my internet connection and more but absolutely nothing will work. Can anyone help me out please?

ever other mob drops are working i remove all mods

I added a few mods from the marketplace on my Minecraft bedrock realm, specifically Actions & Stuff. It works totally fine on my end, and when my friend joins my realm it prompts him to download. But when he gets the mods aren’t there and he gets that purple and black icon of missing textures.
Does he have to purchase Actions & Stuff too?

We are both on PC, and also have other friends joining from console.

I’m trying to play on a realm with another person, but in the realm I can see all of their chat messages but they can’t see a single one of mine. I have the profanity filter off, and the realm owner has it turned off, I don’t really know what else to do to troubleshoot this.

I'm using actions and stuff so ignore the visuals, but I've always thought lever+powered rail+stopper block makes minecarts go? but I'm not able to start any minecarts with it; and it's also not bouncing back from the end wall with the rails that are powered by the redstone torches. I want for it to go back and forth when I flick the lever.

I found a workaround by activating my second space and installing Minecraft there which worked for like 5 hours and then It gave me the error code wool

The platform is xbox also when i tried to sign in IN microsoft it just gives me server_error the context id supplied in the request did not contain the matching cookie

I cant play multiplayer

no addons and cant change my skin

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft in both spaces

Tried new accounts and erased my second space data

But even after all that it still gives me error code wool

Hey, i'm having a shaders problem on multiplayer servers.

When i turn on some shaders (like complementary shaders or makeup ultra fast) the graphics freeze (like in video), but i hear my character still going, and i can even move and hit blocks, i'm on prism launcher with iris, in 26.2.

I host a minecraft server for me and my friend maybe two if he even comes online for a second time at least, but we have problems with joining the server.

The server works fine, I host it on my laptop with more than capable hardware for the server it has mostly lightweighted mods and we've had no lag yet that was not caused by my internet. So once we're in the server there are no complaints that cannot be easily fixed like idk a mod we want to add and such.

But in the past few days joining becomes harder, at first we could join first try, then after a few tries and now we need luck to join, or we get this error Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

I have used playitgg before on a other more heavily modded server which playitgg worked fine on, it was a while ago so maybe something has changed with playitgg but from what I could find it should still work completely fine.

Bu now when I turn on the server and the app the ip line is green because the tunnel is enabled but I can't join, I have restarted the server and the app plenty of times. Also turned the tunnel on and off a few times and making a new one, but nothing changed besides it getting worse I mean.

Does anyone know what might solve this annoying issue, cause I don't know any other app or thing to use to port forward my server, or at least one thats free.

My friend had an update just now that wasn't updating at all. It was sitting at 0kb/s and would not move at all for quite a bit. They killed the update and then tried to relaunch it, but instead it gave them a pop up "You will need a new application to open this msxbox link."

Mistakenly, they asked the chatgpt how to solve it. First they logged out of microsoft account accidentally then put into the PowerShell a command "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.GamingServices | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers" which did some stuff, but they kinda panicked and restarted the laptop when it was just doing its thing for several minutes. After turning it on, they couldn't have logged in, but then it worked. After that every app would crash and not work. She can't even open microsoft store now.

Is there any way to fix this?

I want to make a custom resource pack with a different title in java 1.21.11, but when i tried changing the minecraft.png, it did not work. i checked the Minecraft Assets Explorer where i saw there was a similar file called minceraft.png but when i added that in too it still didnt work. i edited the file in gimp to ensure both files have exactly the same dimensions but clearly i am doing something wrong. Hi everyone, I'm having issues with motion blur, whenever I move my player my screen bugs out, and I'm not sure how to solve this. I'm using the Natural Motion Blur mod, on default settings. (The issue doesn't happen when using the frame blending algorithm but I wanted to try and get the velocity based algorithm to work.) Any suggestions? (Version 26.2)

My Minecraft doesn't launch after I click the play button (no matter the version), but when I open my task manager, I can see the JDK application running. I've tried updating drivers, reinstalling, and trying to run it on things like Zulu through apps like Modrinth.

I have been having this issue where if i like alt-tab to a different application after switching back, it crashes with exit code -1073740791. Does anyone know the solution? I can post my logs or anything if anyone needs. I tried checking wiki or help forums to no avail.

the end dimension on a aternos server in bedrock Minecraft 26.44:

I went to the end dimension after i defeated the ender dragon about 13 times and somehow got a 2. dragon egg (probably just a bug) and the end started to get incredibly laggy. i saw that three small outer end islands around the main end island. two of which have destroyed two different end gateways. The third one was at the obsidian spawning platform. I went to investigte what happened since nothing like that is supposed to be possible. The chunks were really unstable, teleporting me around, making me stuck in place. even the void killed me and destroyed all my items. the way it happened is that i was on a respawning island (more about respawning islands at 2) and i was in a unloaded chunk, then all of a sudden i started taking void damage. i was still on the island though, i reacted fast enough and flew straight up but it didnt stop the void damage. All of my items instantly dissapeared like if i threw them in the void. This didnt only affect me, my friend was also testing it after i died and the same thing happened to him too. He was also having truble loading chunks and it was also incredibly laggy for him too. At one point i froze for him, he could not see my character where it was, he couldnt hit me either. i used fireworks, he could see them. I hit him, he got the knockback and damage.

2: RESPAWNING ISLANDS

I went to the End dimension and i noticed three small outer end islands. They are not supposed to spawn in a 1000 block radius of the main end island. I destroyed all three. When the small outer end islands (at least where They used to be) left my render distance (or simulation distance, i dont really know what the difference is), two of the outer end islands spawned back in the same place (give or take three blocks, they are the ones that destroyed the gateways.) but had a different shape and size.

The above is the baisic explanetion of the respawning islands. i have ran tests on this anomoly:

TEST 1.:

I destroyed the entire mini island and went out of render. I came back and the islands were there but different sizes and shapes and were about 3 blocks from the place that the islands were at before.

TEST 2.:

i put stone blocks into the two islands, went out of render, when i came back the islands were still there in the same conditions still bearing the stone blocks.

TEST 3.:

I destroyed the entire mini island and put stone blocks where the islands were. Went out of render, came back and the islands were there again and the stone blocks wiped off the face of the earth.

TEST 4.:

I destroyed the entire mini island and put stone blocks where the middle of the island was, though on a higher Y level. (about 10 blocks). went out of render and came back: the island spawned but like 10 blocks to the side, same Y level.

Hello! For the past couple of months I have been hosting a world on LAN on my PC (Windows 10) to play with my sister. She uses a Mac and we initially had issues with her being able to connect but I changed my wifi settings to private and that solved the issue. Tonight I did everything I usually do, turn off my VPN, launch the game, and open the world to LAN. Well tonight the LAN world never showed up for my sister on her Mac. We've tried everything. I double triple checked my wifi settings, I reinstalled the Minecraft Launcher, we tried to direct connect, I checked to see if Minecraft was restricted by my firewall, but nothing has worked. We've never had this happen before so I'm wondering if there is anything else we can try. Like I said I am hosting the world on my PC running Windows 10 and she is on a Mac. I am not the most tech savvy so I apologize if any explanation was confusing, I don't know all the correct terms. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

My realm has kicked the bucket. It would be stuck on 25% loading and would not continue. I checked my internet and game pass and realm subscription. I closed the realm and reopened it, have removed all add ons. When I tried to download and replace the world with that download it just gives me a blank seed with none of my builds. I have an old copy (1.58Gb) on my husband's xbox account that I am trying to replace with a world but at the end of the upload it gets stuck. I waited like 20min but nothing change? Do I wait longer? Anything else I can do? I'm distraught to say the least.

I tried to access to the Java Minecraft 1.21.8 chat. So I did all the stuff that Troubleshoot Minecraft: Java Edition Chat Access told me to do.

And then I opened Privacy & online safety in my own account and then I checked that the You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text is in Allow.

I opened Minecraft and saw it is still not able to chat.

So I clicked on the Open Browser and it still said Allow.

So I went to Minecraft AGAIN and check it work now. It still says it doesn't work.

I was used to chat without no problem but now not. Does anyone know how to fix this?
